Itinerario
A comienzos del siglo I d.

Julia was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend her to anyone!
A bit chaotic at the start and finish but a really good tour. Very knowledgeable guide. Would recommend
Fabric was great and very informative. Would have liked option to see the plaster casts though. Apparently there is a museum..
Thank you for your comments. We are pleased to read that you found the tour informative and well-paced, and that you appreciated the guide’s explanations. For this reason, we are a bit surprised by the low rating, as your feedback itself seems generally positive. Regarding the plaster casts, please note that they are not always part of the main guided route, as the itinerary inside the archaeological site may vary depending on timing restrictions and regulations set by the Pompeii authorities. However, the casts can still be seen when passing through the museum area near the exit, which is normally included at the end of the visit. As this is a shared group tour, the duration and route must remain standard for all participants. Guests who wish to explore specific sections of the site in greater depth can always opt for a private tour, which allows a more flexible and personalized itinerary. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another experience in the future.
The tour guide and experience was great. The shuttle driver was almost 20 minutes late picking us back up at Pompeii and it was raining hard.
Just ok. Not that it was bad but somewhat disappointing. I’m not sure what would have made it more interesting but for me, it just missed the mark so to speak. Oh well.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your impressions of the Pompeii tour. While we are pleased that the experience was satisfactory, we are sorry it did not fully meet your expectations. Group tours generally follow a standard route designed to highlight the main areas of interest within the limited time available, which may feel less flexible for some travelers. For those who prefer a deeper, more tailored experience — with the possibility to focus on specific themes or explore areas of personal interest — we always recommend booking a private tour. This option allows the guide to adapt entirely to your pace and preferences, making the visit more engaging and personalized. We truly value your comments, as they help us improve, and we would be delighted to welcome you again on a future tour that better matches your expectations. Kind regards
Very organised tour. Small group of 21 people which made it very enjoyable. Luigi was funny and helpful. The tour guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable and funny too. My only criticism would be not enough time in Pompeii to look around on own. We had 25 minutes to look at an expensive gift shop which would be better used looking inside the ruins.
Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your kind words — we’re delighted to know you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the professionalism and enthusiasm of both Luigi and our local Pompeii guide! Regarding your comment about the time at Pompeii, please allow us to clarify: unlike many other group tours, our service operates with a single central meeting point, which sometimes allows us to reach Pompeii even before the official opening of the archaeological site. For this reason, the short stop at the nearby shop cannot be added to the two-hour guided visit, as the ruins are still closed at that time. Additionally, as this is a group tour, the duration must remain standard to ensure that everyone can comfortably follow the guide — Pompeii is a large and physically demanding site for many travelers. For guests who wish to explore more freely or at a different pace, we also offer a wide range of private and fully customizable tours that allow extra time inside the ruins. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again soon on another Discover Italy experience!
This was an amazing small tour. Our driver was right at the exit to the terminal to pick us up with a sign with our names. Only one other couple with us. Gulia (sounds like Julia) was so knowledgeable and passionate about the information on the history of Pompeii and its sad demise. We arrived right before the site opens so even got to have a cappuccino and also did a tasting of limoncello at a little restaurant right at the front of the entry to the ruins. She took us thru all of the highlights always knowing where to go for a great photo. I highly recommend this tour.
We went on this tour and enjoyed it. The port meeting area is extremely hectic. There were many hundreds of people looking for their tours. It was frenetic. Our group meeting place at the port was tucked around a corner and difficult to find. We contacted the tour provider and they did have the tour guide contact us to help us find the meeting spot. The larger group at the port was divided into smaller groups by language, and we were with the English speaking guide, Anna. Anna is very knowledgeable and explained each site well. We felt the 2 hours inside Pompeii was fine, but it was a bit rushed at each site. It is difficult to walk on the ancient stones and sturdy shoes/sneakers are advised. You can get a very good sense of Pompeii and its history in two hours. This is a worthwhile trip.
We were met just outside the port gates, exactly where they said they would be. The trasportation was really good and our guide was amazing. Would definitely use this company again.
The tour guide got our tour was amazing. She had great knowledge of Pompeii. Pompeii has a fantastic history.
