From start to finish, Giovanna and Paolo handled picking us up at the airport, Pompeii guided tour and dropping us off at our hotel. With return transportation to airport. We couldn’t be happier. They truly Love Italy and you can feel it in their conversation. We would book them again and try some of their other opportunities. Everyone must use this group. You will have the time of your life. Our guide Paolo was amazing. Our tour of Pompeii was exceptional with detailed history lessons and archeological and geological details addressed with clarity. Even though he does this tour multiple times a day we felt that we were important and special and that we had his complete attention. He answered all of our questions and was modest enough to admit when he didn’t know an answer. I wish I could have spent an entire day with him and his stories.
Paolo was a terrific guide; we had a really interesting visit to Pompeii, which was very fascinating not only for the adults, but also for 10-year-old daughter. This, despite a horrendous rainstorm, in which our visit ended. But this did not take away from the experience; rather demonstrated well, why the streets in Pompeii are set so deeply. Paolo was extremely caring, making sure we got home well, and had many many details and stories to tell about the site. I would strongly recommend getting him as a guide - that will really make a big difference about how you experience Pompeii. Many thanks, Paolo, for the great tour.
