Conozca uno de los volcanes más activos de Costa Rica, el Volcán Poás con 2.708 m de altura, el cual se encuentra a pocos minutos de la ciudad de San José, donde lo recogemos directamente donde puede encontrar hospedaje para llevarlo a ver el Gran Coloso Camino al Volcán podrás deleitarte con las hermosas vistas de las haciendas de Leche, Fresa y plantas ornamentales así como de los grandes cafetales los cuales se destacan por la gran cantidad observada en el camino, una vez que llegar al volcán. Lo llevaremos a disfrutar de un delicioso Almuerzo típico el cual está incluido en el tour. Una vez que estemos satisfechos nos dirigiremos a las Cataratas de La Paz donde se asombrará con la inmensa caída de agua que nos regala esta zona. No te puedes perder de visitar la Finca Cafetalera y aprender todo sobre uno de los mejores cafés del mundo.

Pasaremos por una de las cascadas más hermosas de Costa Rica, tomaremos un descanso en las montañas de Sarapiquí, esto es La Paz afuera.
En Mi Cafecito haremos un Tour de Café en Sarapiquí muy interesante, conocerás todo lo relacionado con uno de los cafés más prestigiosos del mundo. Aquí tendremos un delicioso almuerzo típico, podrás elegir de un menú tu plato más conveniente según tu gusto o preferencia. Luego visitaremos una cascada más (El Congo) hacia las montañas y un mirador de la base del río Sarapiquí.

It was an overcast day, the higher we drove up the volcano, weather conditions deteriorated! We waited for a sighting but was disappointed…. However, our tour guide/driver and very knowledgeable local guy Charly, made the wait time by playing with AI photos….both realistic & funny… whatever your style! We experienced the coffee industry from planting to tasting, participating all the processes on the coffee bean journey. We stopped at a number of places to sample and/or buy local produce. As the sole English speaker I felt included and didn’t miss a thing, even sat up front with Charly who managed the heavy traffic on the return trip with ease. Thank you Charly, it was a great tour in difficult circumstances!
Very interesting tour that allows you to see the country. I particularly enjoyed discovering all the stages of coffee production and drinking coffee that we roasted and ground ourselves. The waterfall is worth the detour, as are all the tastings and the lunch, which was of high quality. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to see the volcano.

The tour was excellent. Charlie was a fantastic guide, and the group was great as well, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were picked up from our hotel right on time without any issues, and our first stop was a coffee farm. Charlie was incredibly knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions. When we arrived at the volcano, it was very foggy, but Charlie kept telling us to be patient and that the view would eventually clear up. He was absolutely right—after just a few minutes, the fog lifted, and the scenery was breathtaking. After that, we had lunch, and then we learned even more about what happens to the coffee after it leaves the farm. We got to experience the entire coffee-making process from start to finish, which was really interesting. Overall, it was a wonderful tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Everything was good. From the punctuality to pick us up and the kindness of Mr. Ricardo, we were lucky with the weather since we managed to see the clear crater for a few moments and also the lagoon. The coffee tour explanation was very good, it was educational, they make you participate in this demonstration and the coffee was very delicious.

A wonderful and unique excursion with a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We learned much and ate well, tried delicious foods and drinks. It was relaxing and refreshing. Be prepared for a steep walk but it’s worth the views!

Ricardo has been an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and professional. The trip took us to two coffee farms, the Poas park, an huge waterfall, and a coffee experience that made us see how coffee is made from the bean to the cup. I enjoyed it.
