Your day trip starts with hotel pickup or by meeting your guide in Cartagena's UNESCO World Heritage–listed old city. Board your coach, and head to Baru Island, about one hour away. During the drive, listen to your guide's commentary about the area's neighborhoods, fishing villages, and industrial zone of Mamonal. When you arrive at Playa Blanca, enjoy the white-sand beach and crystalline waters. A lunch of Colombian dishes is included if option is selected. After your relaxing day in the sun, head back to the city, where your day trip ends.

Charged us twice as much as other people on the same tour.Would not refund the difference. Can not recommend.

Our guide was great! She met us on time at the meeting point, we boarded a van that took us an hour away from Cartagena. While en route our guide told us some more history and the plan for the day. She was very helpful! When we arrived to the beach area we walked down to a small boat that took us to a smaller beach away from lots of crowds and most vendors. Only a few to say no gracias to and got sucked into an overpriced massage haha but overall a very relaxing day!
We had a wonderful time! The beach was perfect and the lunch fantastic, fresh fried fish, best I’ve had. Our Tour guide Karina was very informative and attentive. Great service! Unforgettable experience! Highly recommended

Karina was a great host. It was overall a very good experience. I will warn those with mobility issues that there is a short, but steep, rocky path to get tothe beach, and you will have to maneuver into/out of a small boat. You will need to remove shoes to get into/out of the boat (a short 3-minute ride tou your section of the beach), so keep that in mind. It was a very relaxing day!

never seen a havoc like this in a paradiso.in practice you go with the boat and you find yourself a thousand other boats like yours that unload hordes of tourists without control over the number of people so that the sea you do not even see it because it is full of boats and people and you swim in a square meter between the buoys (you do not do it where you want).experience to forget not to mention the return boat trip with waves of 3/4 meters for 50 minutes with people who had panic attacks in the open sea on a boat without any security
I didn't have the time to comment because I was returning to my country but I found the beach excellent, the wonderful carina guide with all the information she gives, everything spectacular, I would gladly do the same tour together with the food that is exquisite, but there is a detail... I don't know if the man who took us -Jeison- is the same of all the tours of the agency to baru beaches, more I would like to highlight how little respect he has towards the clients he has as for example me, while the tour is given the man is in charge of slowing down to the vehicle in order to show the hunger he has for women and make obscene comments, he is working, he just has to drive does not have to be morbid...

Excellent experience, I recommend! Karina, our guide, was excellent. There is a drive of approximately 1 hour by car. The driver was the low point of the ride, but just ignore its direction. I recommend taking cash in kind; you can exchange dollars on the way to a fairly acceptable exchange. The place where we stayed is excellent, beautiful beach, no sellers (only the 3 known locations - still it is necessary to be firm in the "No"), good food. There is acceptable bathroom. I recommend taking the tour to dive and see the guaxinins. Talk to your own guide.

To get to the beach the path is on land beaten, difficult access to the boats (there is no ladder). The White Beach is quite harassed by walkers! If you want to go to Tranquila Beach you have to pay an extra! Since it is the same beach only a little further away (larger walk)! The beach is full of boats parked, jet sky passing all the time, finally, there is no view to do Photos nor tranquility to swim!!
I had an excellent experience on this tour! Both the guide and the driver were incredibly helpful throughout the day. The guide, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to help us get the best prices on everything. The beach accommodations were perfect — we had comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas waiting for us, which made the day that much more relaxing. Lunch was absolutely delicious, and everything was well-organized from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience!
