Durante el recorrido, descubra los característicos interiores del Palacio de la Cultura y la Ciencia : salones de baile con excelente carpintería en madera, salas de conferencias con mobiliario y equipamiento original de los años 50, y majestuosas escaleras de mármol. Su guía local le acercará a toda la historia del edificio desde 1952 hasta ahora. Disfruta de entretenidas historias y anécdotas mientras caminas por la historia del edificio. Al final de su viaje, no haga colas hasta el ascensor y vaya a la terraza de la planta 30 para descubrir una hermosa vista de la ciudad. PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO : encontrar la entrada principal al Palacio de la Cultura y la Ciencia que se encuentra en el Este del edificio, frente a la Plaza Defilade - el lado de la calle Marszalkowska. Sube las escaleras, pasa entre dos cafés (Green Café Nero y So!Café), una vez más tomar escaleras hasta el final del pasillo. Guía estará esperando a su derecha, frente a la gran puerta de madera ''BISTRO TROJKA''.

The first thing that left us open-mouthed was the imposing Palace of Culture and Science, a Soviet giant that Stalin “gave” to Warsaw... the gift is in quotes, of course. The taxi driver even gestured the quotation marks with his fingers as he joked. Today, the building has cinemas, restaurants and a new life that seems to say, “since they snapped it up, let’s at least take advantage of it.”

An emblematic building of Warsaw with an Interesting history!! Unfortunately it was very foggy and we didn't see anything from the terrace!

We did just the viewing terrace. Got our tickets at the self service machines which turned out a lot quicker than then ticket kiosk. Make your way round to the lifts and wait. Depending on how many people are in the queue depends on how quick you get up to the terrace? Once there, you get some cracking views across the city. You can take as long or short time as you want?
Fantastic guide, fun explanation of the palace, Polish culture and useful walk-through of the rooms. The viewing terrace was on the 30th floor and the elevators were fast.
