We had a great day out, the tour delivered everything as advertised and the guides and food were fab!
I booked this because it was different from typical island tours. Seeing the pink dolphins was exciting, then snorkeling and visiting Pig Island made the day complete. We would have liked a little more snorkeling time, but everything else went smoothly.
We were lucky enough to spot several pink dolphins, which made everyone on the boat excited. Pig Island was fun afterwards, and the snorkeling was an added bonus. A really well-balanced day trip.
Seeing the pink dolphins was something we'd wanted to do for years. Adding Pig Island and snorkeling made the whole day even more enjoyable.
Seeing the pink dolphins was something I'll remember for a long time. After that, Pig Island was perfect for swimming and taking photos. The day moved at a comfortable pace and never felt too busy.
I'd seen plenty of photos before coming, but seeing the pink dolphins in real life was something different. Pig Island was fun as well, especially for swimming and taking photos. It never felt too crowded, and the day had a nice relaxed pace.
The crew were friendly and helpful but the itinerary was misleading as we were expecting to visit Koh tan and seafood lunch at khanom - neither of which happened. Unfortunately we didn’t see the dolphins; but appreciate there’s no guarantees. We snorkelled off shore but the sea was too murky to see much - we went to pig island where we bought a drink and then back to the original meeting point for a nice lunch - but the transport collected us early at 2.15pm and we were hurried on to the transport- very hurried experience overall and definitely not worth the money we paid
The boat was clean and not overly crowded. The equipment was clean and the service professional.
Due to the fact that dolphins are in their natural habitat it is not guaranteed you will see them, luckily we did catch quite a few glimpses. They were pink! Dark dorsal fin, but actual pink flesh. It was amazing! The reef they choose to take you snorkeling is below average, Not very active, there were some fish but not the beautiful colored fish you would think you would see in Thailand, and definitely not a vibrantly live reef but it was still very enjoyable. Pig island was interesting. The swimming was lovely, there were tables and lounge chairs and cabanas all around the beach and by the bar. There were lots of pigs, of every size, some sleeping under tables and in random spots, but most were clustered together behind the bar in the shade waiting for people to feed them. Rather touristy, but still cool to have pigs on an island. Then back to the starting point for an excellent lunch! Great day, I would recommend it if you are looking for an interesting excursion.
The fact that you haven't seen the dolphins is okay, they are wild animals and unfortunately there is no guarantee to see them. The snorkeling is one of those things too, nobody is to blame if the water is a bit murky that day. But what is not possible at all, what is absolutely not possible, is what was seen on Pig Island. There was a pig lying on the beach with bloody scratches everywhere, it was still lying in the same place after an hour without any visible movement. Then there were 2 piglets (not weighing a kilo) they were running around more than powerless and were constantly on their toes, I learned from a jet ski provider that the mother sow had died 4 days ago and the 2 little ones have not been suckled since then as the other sows were not suckling them, why not bottle breeding? Why are the animals not protected from the public? It's unbearable to see such a thing. It was my last trip with you if you as a provider don't learn to pay attention to a minimum wage of animal welfare.
