DESTACAR • Atravesarás el desfiladero de Hermida en minivan. • Tendrás la oportunidad de tomar el Teleférico de Fuente Dé y subir a Picos de Europa a una altura de 1.823 m o de hacer una ruta a caballo por la zona (1h) • Tomarás hermosas fotos de la zona de los Picos de Europa • Disfrutarás de tiempo libre para visitar Potes, capital Liébana • Descubrirás el Monasterio de Santo Toribio RESUMEN En esta excursión de día completo, descubrirá la hermosa región montañosa de Liébana. Conduciremos hasta Fuente Dé, donde disfrutarás de un tiempo libre para recorrer el entorno de Fuente Dé o tomar el Teleférico para subir a Picos de Europa si lo deseas (para vuestra comodidad y que todo el grupo tenga el mismo horario de subida nos encargaremos de la compra de las entradas al teleférico si deseas disfrutar de esta experiencia -entradas no incluidas, €30,00/pers. en temporada alta - €20,00/pers. en temporada baja) a pagar directamente al guía el día de la excursión). También visitarás el Monasterio de Santo Toribio, uno de los cuatro lugares sagrados del cristianismo por albergar el Lignum Crucis, que es el trozo más grande que se conserva de la Cruz de Jesucristo. Finalmente, llegaremos al pueblo de Potes, capital de la comarca, y considerado uno de los pueblos más bellos de España por sus calles empedradas, casas de piedra y puentes. En Potes, disfrutarás de un tiempo libre para almorzar y hacer compras si lo deseas.

A 10-hour trip, with a coffee/pee break along the way. The first stop is at the monastery, which is quite small. Dan visited Potes, where after a short orientation you have 2 hours of free time, for lunch among other things. Nice little village. Finally, the cable car of Fuente De. This is payable separately the day before. Has great advantage that you should not queue, but the disadvantage that if it is cloudy or foggy, you have paid for nothing. The guide/driver was informative and careful driver.

The trip was well planned and ran very smoothly. Our guide, Maria, was warm, knowledgeable and took great care to make sure us English-speakers were included in the conversations. We went in May and hadn’t realised there would be snow! So make sure to wrap up warm.
Great day out to Picos De Europa. Would recommend with this travel company and Pepe. We had good weather and so amazing views and not cold at the top. Lots of butterflies near the lakes and also deer in the distance. Monastery was a quick stop but good to see and loved the town of Potes on the river. Pepe had recommendations and answered everyone's questions. He gave detailed commentary on the way in Spanish and English. Was also a good driver. 1.45hrs at Picos was enough for a longish walk at the top. 2hrs in Potes was a good length of time for lunch and exploring the town and 15th century tower. Well worth the long day out. We had the mini bus so just 6 of us including the guide. Could fit one more.
