Just under 1 hr. Could have been longer. But overall enjoyable.the view /seat was good. Service was great.
Disappointed We have been to La Piazzolla several times and have recommended the show in the past. We booked this show far in advance as it was our daughter’s birthday. She had never been to a Tango show before as this was her first visit to Buenos Aires. We had notified the theater In advance that this was a special occasion. We arrived early and were given a table to the side floor level. We spoke to someone who understood English and was told there was never a guarantee and he would try to move us later. (This never happened) If we wanted to cancel we would have to do so on line as we had booked directly with the theater on line. This made no sense. A waiter told us he was our server but he never returned so some else took our order after we asked for help. This time we had one small meat empanada and was told the other was cheese. In the past there were two large meat empanadas. The cheese included ham which we were not told by our waitress. The steak was tough and full of fat and grizzle. The chunks of potato were hard and over cooked. We were never asked if everything was okay or if we needed another beverage. To be honest the show was not as good as in the past. Some of it was really boring. We could not see the videos behind the band or parts of the show that started in the side balcony. The worst part was one waiter in particular walked back and forth during the show to clear entre meal and dessert dishes and glasses. Our waitress did it once. Why was the clearing plates, glasses and empty bottles necessary when the show is an hour and was to be the highlight of the evening. We have pictures of waiters instead of the dancers. People who came for the show only were seated in the middle in front of the stage. They did not even stay for the entire show. To say the least we will not return nor recommend Piazzolla Tango show. There are many other shows in the city.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience and sincerely apologize that it did not meet your expectations, especially for such a special occasion. We appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the seating, service, and dining, as well as your comments about the show itself. Your experience is important to us, and we will review your observations with the theater to improve their service and guest experience. We hope that despite this, you may give another Buenos Aires experience a chance in the future. Best regards, Buenos Aires Tour Guide
It was worth the experience! Maxim was very attentive and quick in the answers, so we got a reservation for the same day we made contact. The location of the table was excellent, the dinner was delicious from beginning to end and the show was a real spectacle. Me and my husband were delighted with everything
Great tango show and the dinner and wine was great. We loved the table Malbec and enjoyed the show. We were picked up at the time we were given and it was a comfortable ride and show.
Nice dinner with great food and excellent Tango show. Highly recommend this dinner and show. ………………………………..,..
Worst dinner ever. The food was cold and tasted like old. The show was boring to the point to get sleeping. Finally one start due to the voice and animation of Hugo Marcel (singer) that awake up me, just 10 minutes before the end.
Wonderful experience! The pickup and drop off was well organized. The food was more than we could eat and very good! The musicians, singers, and tango dancers were amazing! A fantastic night and one of the highlights of our 3 week South American adventure!
The dinner and show exceeded my expectations Setting was impressive the dancing and singing wanted s outstanding
The best tango dancing you will ever find. And the food was very good. The only problem was that we were picked up a little after 7:00 p.m. and the show doesn't start until 10:00p.m. - a fact not clearly disclosed to us. The waiting is intolerable. People walked in up to and after 9:30 p.m. and were served a full dinner before the show. There is simply no reason to be there that early. It was difficult finding our ride back to the ship (the driver who drove us there pawned us off on someone else), but there was enough assistance present to work it out. All in all a good evening if you are prepared for the unnecessary waiting.
Loved the music and dance, very professional. Great show and the dinner was sensational. The steak was perfect!
