La hora de salida es 05:00 o 06:00 am Desde cualquier lugar de Ammán a través de la carretera del desierto se tarda 3 horas en conducir hacia el sur hacia la ciudad de rosas rojas de Nabatea Petra. Petra es considerada como una de las 7 maravillas del mundo, ha sido Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO desde 1985, sus 230 kilómetros de distancia de Ammán que fue tallada en piedra hace más de 2000 años con el fin de dominar las rutas comerciales de la antigua Arabia. Visite sus pueblos, presas y canales de agua y disfrute de un paseo por el estrecho Siq, un camino que es la entrada principal a la ciudad, también verá otros monumentos como El Monasterio y el Altar del Sacrificio. 09:00 am Centro de Visitantes de Petra y comprar un boleto a menos que tenga un Jordan Pass, solo tiene que mostrar el papel que está impreso en o por teléfono para tomar el código de barras. Exceeded my expectations. Raed the driver was very safe, friendly and knowledgeable; Isam the guide was very informative and easy to get along with. Gave good recommendations on best way to get around. Got there early, so missed the crowds. So glad I went the private way and not a bus with many people. Petra was every bit as impressive as I had imagined. Had a good lunch, then a dip and body mud experience in the Red Sea via the Crown Plaza resort. The day was of good length. Got to fit everything in without things dragging along. I was limited with time so this gave me a real sense of the ancient lands with the time I had.
Asmar was an excellent guide throughout our time in Jordan. He went above and beyond by sharing useful information, insights, and context along the way, which really added value to the trip. He was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. He also made sure we were comfortable at all times, providing plenty of beverages during the long days, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. During the trips to Petra, the Dead Sea, Amman city, and Mount Nebo, his knowledge and willingness to explain things clearly made the journey much more enjoyable and informative. He was always helpful, patient, and ready to answer any questions. I highly recommend Asmar to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable driver who truly cares about making the experience better for his guests.
We had an amazing experience today on our Petra and Dead Sea tour with Asmar as our driver and guide. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. Asmar went above and beyond by providing plenty of drinks throughout the trip, which was especially appreciated given the long day and warm weather. He also took the time to show us additional sites along the way and shared interesting history and insights that really enriched the experience. The driver Maen Daher was always on time, very polite and helpful. We had a great one day tour full of experiences - Petra donkey riding, Dead Sea floating and a great lunch included. Strongly recommended
We visited the Dead Sea, and it was incredibly cool! The trip was perfectly organized. Our driver, Asmar, met us at the hotel, took us to the currency exchange office, explained the country along the way, and answered our questions. The Dead Sea, swimming in it, and the mud mineral baths—all of this will be a lifetime experience! At the end of the tour, we were quickly driven back to the hotel! Everything was top-notch!
Was picked up by Munir (Muneer Jarrar) he made the whole trip perfect. I was running late from Petra and he was still able to get me to all my other locations on time. Had an amazing time and was a pleasure to be driven by Munir so funny and great facts. Was safe driver and so super thoughtful. Was a pleasure to send the day with him and felt very safe and taken care of

We did this one day tour which allowed about 3 hours or so in Petra and a resort hotel on the Dead Sea. It was a great day. We did get an additional tour guide in Petra suggested by our guide/driver Maen. It worked out quite well and worth the extra cost when you have come so far to experience Petra. Maen was a fine driver, fine guide and answered our many questions giving us more understanding of Jordan traditionally and today. I think this is a very good way to see these must-dos in Jordan, if you are staying in Amman. Neither place had many tourists which is a shame as they are geared up for many more. I don't think January is a bad time at all to visit Petra.
Read was very friendly and helpful. The Dead Sea resort was very nice with good food. The driver gave us very good tips to navigate our way through Petra.
