En los últimos años, Lima ha sido considerada una de las mejores capitales gastronómicas del mundo. Ven con nosotros y aprende más sobre él visitando los mercados locales e interactuando con su gente amable. Te recogeremos en tu alojamiento u hotel y nos dirigiremos al Mercado de Pesca de Chorrillos, donde aprenderemos sobre el trabajo de los pescadores y el mar. Luego, visitaremos dos mercados en Surquillo, donde probaremos el menú diario, incluyendo ceviche, fruta y más! Se incluyen frutas exóticas, tapas, platos típicos, bebidas y más. Garantizamos que al final de esta experiencia estarás lleno y satisfecho. Hasta pronto :)

Itinerario
Chorrillos “El principal mercado local de pescado de Lima”. Este es el primer lugar que visitamos donde aprenderá sobre una de las principales economías del Perú (la pesca). Además, su guía local le mostrará las diferentes herramientas y cebos que utilizan los lugareños para realizar esa importante actividad. Verás el mar peruano muy de cerca y sabrás por qué Lima es un desierto.
El distrito de Surquillo se está convirtiendo actualmente en la nueva capital gastronómica de Lima, y todo comenzó con el mercado Surquillo 2, gracias a su amplia variedad de productos frescos y orgánicos, así como la deliciosa comida en sus restaurantes! Aquí, probaremos el menú diario y comeremos como un limeño local! Visitaremos las secciones de carnes, verduras y frutas, ¡y verás la gran variedad de productos que ofrece este gran mercado! Después probaremos el plato más representativo de Perú, el Ceviche. Seguramente será uno de los platos más frescos que probarás en la ciudad. Puedes practicar tu español aquí con mis amigos vendedores.
Visitaremos el mercado callejero Surquillo 1, donde probaremos frutas locales de diferentes regiones del país —desierto, montaña y selva— que se destacan por su intenso sabor orgánico. Probaremos algunos pequeños bocadillos y aprenderemos sobre sus orígenes y cómo funciona la dinámica de un mercado en Lima. Los vendedores están orgullosos de los productos que venden y siempre están felices de mostrar la frescura de sus frutas, verduras y carnes!

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Recogida y entrega en su Hotel o Airbnb están incluidos en un cómodo coche o furgoneta con Aire Acondicionado solo de los siguientes distritos de Lima: Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, Centro de Lima (centro histórico), Chorrillos, Surquillo, San Borja, Surco, Pueblo Libre, Jesús María, Magdalena, San Miguel y Lince. Si se aloja en otro distrito o desea ser recogido en el aeropuerto o puerto marítimo para ir de gira con nosotros, entonces se debe pagar una pequeña tarifa debido a la distancia.

Great experience! We went to three markets and were able to try fruits, and other Peruvian specialty dishes. Our guide was very knowledgeable about any about Peru/Lima as he did city tours prior to food tours, so he was able to answer any and all of my questions.

This was a nice food tour. The ceviche was the highlight, but we had several dishes and snacks. I also loved the morada. Highly recommend.
Lucas was an amazing guide, and this was a wonderful tour! It was a small group tour which was nice, and I was the only one who didn't speak Spanish but he made sure to translate everything for me, from group conversations to vendor explanations. Seeing the fish market was a unique experience, and I enjoyed learning about and trying the local fruits and food. It felt like I was learning while going grocery shopping which I absolutely loved! This is a tour that I would recommend if you want a unique tour that gives you a quick peek into the daily lives of the local Lima community and you want to experience something beyond going to museums or restaurants. Also, shout out to Ernesto for being a fantastic driver - punctual, safe, and patient!
Luca gave us a wonderful overview of Peruvian food. We started at the fish market, then went to a market where we tasted a number of Peruvian fruits, most of which we had never had. We ended at Market #2, where we shared 4 dishes at one vendor and then had a ceviche master demonstrate making ceviche, which we then enjoyed. Luca picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Miraflores, so this tour was very convenient. The highlights were the fruit and ceviche.
Very good tour. We had Any, and she did a fantastic job explaining not only the different types of food but also the historical context behind them.
We went to two amazing market, and then the fishing area by the pier! It was such a great experience for our entire family! We had ages 1 to 50 and everyone enjoyed it! Our tour guide, Lucas was really kind. Made us feel really safe and really knowledgeable of the Peruvian food…. We ate at a spot that was featured in Netflix and we had some really good ceviche in our ceviche making course… we tried some delicious fruits at the fruit market! And got to visit the beach with the pier and the fishing market! We had a one year-old, a nine-year-old, and for adults and it was just such a great family experience!
This was a super fun experience! We did the 930 pick up and we were so full by the end of the tour. Everything was delicious and trying new fruits was so fun. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour inside Peruvian food culture. The guide Lucas was just amazing: he was full of information about both Peruvian history and the Peruvian food culture. I really recommend this experience for a deep step into the mixology of Peruvian food, its recipes and the variety of local ingredients. Thank you Lucas for the great time spent together.
