Conoce a algunos de los animales nativos más lindos de Perth en su hábitat natural. Escápate de las multitudes con nosotros y visita el Bosque Dryandra, un área de conservación vital repleta de vida silvestre. El bosque de Dryandra es un punto crítico de biodiversidad que contiene más de 850 especies de plantas, más de 100 especies de aves y 24 mamíferos, incluidos el numbat y el bilby en peligro de extinción. Los bosques proporcionan refugio para algunos de nuestros animales australianos únicos, incluidos los equidnas, los wallabies de cola de maleza, los woylies, las quendas y los chuditch. A su llegada al bosque, tendrá tiempo para un corto paseo por el arbusto, en busca de animales nativos y flores silvestres impresionantes en temporada antes de sentarse a cenar de picnic en el bosque. Después de la cena, disfrute de un paseo panorámico por el bosque mientras la luz del sol se filtra a través de las ramas de los árboles, proyectando largas sombras y una luz parpadeante creando un efecto mágico en el suelo del bosque. Esté atento a los muchos canguros que hay en la zona mientras esquivan y se abren paso entre los árboles.
Barna Mia es un santuario de vida silvestre único para algunos de nuestros mamíferos en peligro de extinción. Los guías ofrecerán una breve charla y un vídeo explicando el trabajo de conservación realizado en Barna Mia. Luego te diriges al santuario para un paseo nocturno guiado donde nos sentamos y esperamos a que aparezcan las criaturas nocturnas de Barna Mia. En poco tiempo, serás entretenido por los animales de Barna Mia mientras emergen de la oscuridad en su búsqueda de alimento.
Para completar el recorrido, hacemos una parada justo fuera del bosque para observar las estrellas. El guía te indicará algunos de los objetos visibles en el cielo nocturno y tendrás tiempo de tomar algunas fotos del cielo nocturno. La región de Dryandra tiene algunos de los cielos más oscuros de Australia, perfectos para ver la vía láctea y las estrellas fugaces.

Unique experience to see conservation in action at Barna Mia. A bit of a ride to get there but well worth it. Our guide was informative and engaging. The spot for dinner provided an opportunity to observe a field of kangaroos and various birdlife. Overall I'd recommend this tour 100%.

Had an amazing afternoon and night with Skip as our guide. We were incredibly lucky with siting of two Bilby’s and even saw a shooting star! Lots of great conversation and dinner was beautiful- plenty to go around. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a more wildlife-based experience, this is a great opportunities.

What an awesome tour! We had a total of five guests on our tour and our tour guide was friendly, down to earth, knowledgable, and provided great service. BBQ dinner in the bush was good. The stops along the way to Barna Mia felt well picked out to get a feel for the WA bush. Barna Mia was fantastic - so many small Australian mammals to see and watch, and do yourself a favour - buy a gift at the gift shop, because the money supports a great cause. If you are looking for something a bit different and love Australian wildlife, this tour is a must-do!

enjoyed the trip but feel there was an opportunity to provide more time in the bush with some more information and viewing options
Thankyou for your feedback Hilary. Timing is always a delicate balance to manage on this tour due to the distance we travel to get to the woodlands & we don't want to make the tour too long. We spend about 30 minutes driving through the woodlands looking for animals & when we see them such as echidnas or numbats we stop so you can get out & see them. Customers then have around 30 minutes to see the kangaroos & look for echidnas and numbats at the spot where we have dinner. We tend not to talk too much about the woodlands on tour as this is covered by the presentation run by Parks & Wildlife when we get to the wildlife sanctuary. We appreciate though that some customers would like more time for bushwalking. Kind regards Skip
