Tome una excursión guiada privada en el Parque Estatal de Cantareira, a unos 40 minutos del centro de São Paulo en vehículo privado. La caminata tiene el objetivo principal de llegar a Pedra Grande (roca grande), que es un belvedere de 1010 metros de altura a unos 5 kilómetros de la entrada principal del parque (ida y vuelta a pie de 10 km), donde los visitantes pueden contemplar una de las vistas más espléndidas de São Paulo. Para llegar al mirador de Pedra Grande, los visitantes caminan por caminos sin asfaltar cuesta arriba, por senderos de ligero nivel de dificultad y rodeados de bosque nativo, exuberante paisaje, pequeñas cataratas y animales, particularmente monos. Aproximadamente una hora y media a pie de la entrada principal del parque, descansa un hermoso lago. Tómate un descanso al borde de ella, luego continúa por más de treinta minutos alcanzando el belvedere. Una vez en la zona de descanso superior de Pedra Grande, disfrute de las increíbles vistas que abarcan toda la inmensidad de São Paulo mirando a través de los valles hacia la ciudad más grande del hemisferio sur.

Itinerario
Nos encontramos en su hotel y salimos hacia el norte de la ciudad. Después de unos cincuenta minutos de viaje, entramos en el Parque Estatal de Cantareira, una reserva natural que se extiende sobre más de 7.900 hectáreas : ¡el equivalente a 8000 campos de fútbol!
Una vez que estamos entre la cordillera de Cantareira, comenzamos nuestro itinerario de senderismo que nos lleva a llegar a Pedra Grande. En el camino, podremos contemplar el exuberante paisaje natural y las pequeñas cascadas, así como observar a los animales que viven en el parque. ¡Mantén los ojos bien abiertos y, con un poco de suerte, verás algunos monos! Después de una hora y media de caminata, haremos una parada en la orilla del Lago das Carpas, donde podremos recuperar fuerzas y relajarnos en plena naturaleza.
Continuaremos nuestro viaje por otros treinta minutos, hasta llegar a Pedra Grande, un mirador ubicado a 1010 metros sobre el nivel del mar desde el cual disfrutaremos de increíbles vistas de São Paulo y los valles que rodean la ciudad. El contraste entre la metrópolis y el bosque circundante es realmente increíble!
Termine con un fantástico almuerzo en el complejo de restaurantes "O Velhão" (no incluido) y tome la famosa cachaça, la bebida nacional brasileña del restaurante ofrece muchas variedades.

This was a fantastic day walking the rainforest and seeing the expansive views back over Sao Paulo. Amazing. It is only a short car ride out of the city but you felt miles away. All of the arrangements on the day worked really well with hotel pick-up and drop-off. Communication throughout was really good. Denis, our guide for the day, was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, great knowledge, excellent English and a fun sense of humour. Made it all really interesting and educational. Also everything was tailored around us (a family of three), what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to be walking. Highly recommended and great value.

Danilo from Gregtur picked us up at our Airbnb and was our guide for the walk up through the National Park to Big Rock for superlative views of São Paulo City. Danilo was a superb guide and we enjoyed his company right from the start . He told us so much about São Paulo, its culture, history and politics that it brought the place alive for us. He had a thoughtful and gentle manner which all of us loved. His English was superb. The walk itself up through the national park(rainforest) was beautiful. The views from the top down to the city were amazing. He gave us space to enjoy the views as a family but was very attentive to our needs. He took some beautiful photos of us and the views. It was a day that the four of us will never forget! I highly recommend the tour and Danilo as a guide. We had another tour booked with Gregturismo the next day and were delighted to find Danilo was our tour guide again!

Was searching very last minute for an outdoor activity the next morning and came in contact with Greg. He did an incredible job of pure customer service by working to coordinate with available guides, open parks, and my budget. I was picked up from my hotel, guided on a 5 hr hike, drank from fresh coconuts to rehydrate, then dropped off back at my hotel. All of this was done by Luiz. Such an amazing person. Full of stories, knowledge, courtesy, and an openness to friendship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a close urban escape while in Sao Paulo.

Delightful pair of walks up to Pedra Grande with an amazing view of all of Sao Paolo, then through the rainforest to waterfalls. Our guide Dennis was very knowledgeable, friendly and good company. Recommend most highly.
Outstanding views of São Paulo with some close encounters with sagui monkeys! Loved it! Guide explained local food and drinks at an amazing restaurant.
I didn’t post any pictures because I didn’t want to confuse the actual tour we did. I was unable to do the hike due to a last minute injury. The tour guide company was phenomenal at accommodating the change of plans and we were able to have a great day with Denis our guide. He was very knowledgeable and guided us with ease in English. Highly recommend this tour as their staff is exceptional
