Really good food tour around the side streets of the old city. The guide Ram was excellent and took time to tell us history of the city and answer our questions. Only recommendation is that although different 2 meals are practically the same just different breads. 10/10 thankyou
We had the best experiences! We booked the food tour initially, and were so impressed not only by the food but the knowledge of the area and history of the food was truly amazing! we were so impressed we booked another tour, the golden temple tour, it was again so incredible we learned so much we never would of learned without a guide Both tours were great but only cause of our guide Ram Singh, great English and so passionate about his work! He would be a great historian for the city of Amritsar!
Really excellent tour that mixed really delicious food at local hidden gems that I would not have otherwise found. My guide Ram was excellent- really informative about Amritsari cuisine and also the history of Amritsar and Sikhism. Highly recommended.
Had a very good and informative food tour around the old city. Managed to taste some classic Amritsar food. Highly recommended
Had a great time with Ram. He was very knowledgeable and engaged as he answered all our questions while taking us on this tour. The food was excellent too. Highly recommend this tour, not just for the food but also for the conversation and learning!
Our friendly, helpful and informative guide Amrit showed us to some good local places to eat, we really enjoyed the lassi and the Indian rice pudding. We were also shown places we would not have noticed if we were on our own. Amrit also explained a lot about his Sikh culture and history.
Such a great experience on this food tour. Ram was the perfect host, incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food of his home city. So much food and each stop was as good as the last. Couldn’t recommend more!
What a great way to spend an evening. Ram is an excellent guide. His knowledge about Punjabi foods/dishes and the city along with his eagerness to share that knowledge was a joy and so much appreciated.....and thank goodness for the "hidden gems" of the city. I would never have discovered them on my own and the short walks between the tastings helped make more room for more food
Lovely food tour which included a walk around the small streets of Amritsar, local markets and side streets. The food was really good from famous Amritsar places, mouth watering Kulcha, amazing Chole Bhature, lassie, and there was a sugar snack thing that was a bit too sweet for me! The only recommendation for improvement I would give is that the 2 savory dishes were very similar, Kulcha and Chole Bhature, both bread based with similar sides (chickpeas and chutneys) maybe some variety like a curry or a saag for example would be good. Thanks Ram for a lovely tour!
Amazing evening food tour around the streets of Amritsar. Ram was brilliant, great food and a bit of history thrown in. Highly recommend.
