A hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia was at the very top of my bucket list, so I spent a lot of time researching before choosing Turquaz Balloons. One of the main reasons I booked with them was that they fly with a maximum of 16 passengers per balloon, making the experience far more comfortable and intimate than the larger 24–28 person baskets. And I can confidently say—it was one of the best decisions of our trip. From booking to landing, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism. We were picked up from Kelebek Hotel at 3:50 AM and taken to Turquaz’s beautiful office and café, where a fresh breakfast was waiting for us. It was probably the earliest breakfast I’ve ever had, but definitely one to remember! After breakfast, we were taken in dedicated vans to the launch site. Watching dozens of colorful balloons being inflated in the pre-dawn light was a breathtaking experience in itself. The excitement kept building until we stepped into our basket and gently lifted off the ground. From that moment on, it was pure magic. No camera or photograph can truly capture what it feels like to watch the sunrise from a hot air balloon while floating peacefully above Cappadocia. Seeing countless balloons drifting around us, along with the incredible valleys, fairy chimneys, and caves below, was simply mesmerizing. A special mention goes to our pilot, Selçuk. He wasn’t just an incredibly skilled pilot with outstanding control over the balloon, but also an entertainer who kept everyone engaged throughout the flight. He shared fascinating stories about Cappadocia, explained the landscapes beneath us, and made the entire journey both informative and fun. After about an hour in the air, we had a remarkably smooth landing, thanks to both Selçuk and the highly efficient ground crew, who worked together like a perfectly coordinated team. The experience ended with a celebratory champagne toast, fresh cake, a flight certificate, and a medal—a lovely way to mark such a memorable adventure. If you’re planning a balloon ride in Cappadocia, I wholeheartedly recommend Turquaz Balloons. Don’t choose the cheapest option just to save a little money. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Turquaz strikes the perfect balance between price, comfort, professionalism, and quality. The whole thing was amazing my family really enjoyed it. Pilots was amazing the way he went through low lying buildings , very professional and well worth the experience not to be missed. Would do it again next time in turkey.

Absolutely amazing..from pick up to drop off, everything was so professionally handled. Helpful crew all throughout...pick up time details sent the night prior but staff always contactable on whatsapp prior to the day to answer questions too. We were picked up 3:50 Taken to HQ to sign in, light breakfast (teas,coffee, juice,water, croissant/breads/fruits), then spilt into you tours. We booked the classic, which is a 20 person basket but they only place 16 of you in there, so aplenty of room to move and take photos. The guide (we had Yahya) was very humorous and knowledgeable...there was a passenger in our basket who was v anxious/afraid of heighs, and he quickly put her at ease so she could (and did!) enjoy the flight. The weather was great for us, we started further out ..away from Goreme..which allowed us to do a high ascent (1200 metres) and then drift along and down, we saw several valleys and amazing skylines along...don't worry about missing anyway, the basket naturally turns slowly in the breeze, so you all get yo see the views 360°. We drifted over Göreme with allowed another ascent and decent...floating directly over our own hotel/pool. Conditions were good, so we had an hour-long flight and smooth landing directly on to the trailer then were welcomed with champagne/orange and cake. Presented with a certificate of flight and handmade ceramic medal. Then Yahya took some time to explain about the flight, how the balloon works, his experiences as a pilot of one (almost seven years) and answer all the we had as guests. We were then dropped off at our hotel before 7am. Honestly....my best experience of any trip... i compared many provers before booking, and i picked turquaz as they offered the smaller group option, which was just perfect..... Do it!

Great experience Very professional people

This has been a dream of mine for a very long time. From the initial booking to our early morning pickup, the experience was seamless. A yummy breakfast is served while getting prepared and transport to balloon site comfortable. Staff are friendly and informative throughout! The balloon ride was beyond beautiful and more than you can imagine. I would highly recommend Turquoz Balloons for your journey into the skies.

From pickup to drop off this tour is 1,000/10! I loved the communication the most. They reach out 48 his ahead of time to give you a detailed expectations breakdown. Pickup up is LITERALLY chauffeur service. The best part is at the end where you get your certificate and medal of completion. It's a lovely and fun perk of an already amazing experience.
