Nuestra primera parada es el mirador cerca del pequeño pueblo de Majkovi, ubicado en las colinas que dominan las famosas islas Elaphiti. Esta parada ofrece la vista más impresionante de toda la región, donde podrá ver las aguas cristalinas del mar Adriático y una vista desde Dubrovnik en el lado este hasta el parque nacional de la isla Mljet y la península de Pelješac en el oeste.
A continuación, visitaremos la encantadora ciudad de Ston, conocida por sus murallas históricas y la fábrica de sal más antigua de Europa. Las murallas de Ston son el sistema de fortalezas más largo de Europa, se extienden por más de 5,5 kilómetros (el resto de los 7 kilómetros originales) y fueron construidas en el siglo XIV para proteger la ciudad de los invasores. Nos tomaremos un descanso aquí para explorar las murallas y aprender sobre la historia y la cultura de esta fascinante ciudad.
Después de visitar Ston, nos dirigiremos a la bahía de Mali Ston y experimentaremos el irresistible sabor de las ostras, un manjar apreciado durante siglos. Con sus raíces en la época romana, el cultivo de ostras ha sido una parte integral de la bahía de Mali Ston. Pocas familias han estado en este negocio durante generaciones y estamos orgullosos de ofrecerle una auténtica experiencia de degustación de ostras como ninguna otra.
Nuestra siguiente parada es una pequeña bodega familiar en el pueblo de Ponikve. Es un lugar tradicional, conocido por su producción premium. Aquí degustarás cuatro vinos premium, tres tintos y uno blanco elegante, maridados con su propio aceite de oliva casero.

this was the absolutely most amazing experience ever. We went to the mussel farm where the guy literally pulled mussels out of the ocean, shucked them for us, and then cooked them in broth. He served it to us with white wine and bread. It was so peaceful, relaxing, and the food was absolutely amazing. The guide was great, the mussels & oysters were great, and everybody who we spoke to was so nice and welcoming.
Always on time, always helpful and smiling. Excellent service. Highly recommended. Trip to Peljesac was great. Oysters and wine were delicious 🤩
The tour was an interesting combination of local history, scenic beauty, agricultural education, a smorgasbord of oysters and muscles, and local wine.
This was set up so that it could be a rain or shine event which is good because we were dodging storms. This was truly a highlight of our trip! I had no idea it took more than two years to cultivate that tasty oyster on my plate. Great scenery.
What a wonderful excursion this was. Our Airbnb host in Dubrovnik organized this as a diversion for us on our drive from Split to Dubrovnik. We had an opportunity to learn about the harvesting of the oysters and mussels. Our guide did an excellent job explaining everything and then prepared a wonderful feast of oysters, mussels, and anchovies for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend this as both enjoyable and educational.
Fantastic Experience A scenic boat ride over to the farm platform, with informative farming process techniques for Oysters and Mussels. Our lunch was beautiful fresh served oysters and cooked mussels simply and with flavours that were amazing. Highly recommend the Tour with its two highlighted stops to anyone visiting the local Towns, our guide Marko from Cava Tours was very informative, friendly and helpful. Recommend
The whole tour exceeded our expectations! Both the drive there and the oyster farm itself were more than pleasurable. At the oyster platform you are greeted with some homemade shots, get to hear a bit about the whole process and finally you try oysters fresh from the sea. Amazing experience all around.
Had an amazing morning & afternoon driving down to the town of Ston with Mr. Luka from Cava Tours and to the oyster farms. The whole experience was amazing and the details provided during the tour was really good to understand not only the process of oyster farming but also surroundings!! One of the highly recommended things to do when in Dubrovnik & with Cava Tours!!
The whole day was wonderful. We loved the beautiful scenery and boating out to the oyster farm. Our guide/driver “H” did an amazing job and was so informative and easy going. It was definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip.
