Itinerario

The guide does not carry a microphone because she is not allowed to, so it is not easy to hear points about the city. Sylvia was lovely, but it was difficult to learn anything about the city unless you were right next to her. The food was good and it was not a bad way to pass a few hours in Port city if you were not going into Rome
Pick up was easy. However our guide was not informative at all . Told us nothing about the food or the surroundings . Well pointed at few things ie this is the market , this is the wall that kept the pirates out.But no details. Went to 4 stops for the food. Food was average .
This was a great excursion. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and so very nice. The food was fun and delicious. Our group was very nice too and we really enjoyed our day.
Although our tour guide was lovely and engaging this is a food tour. 3 of the food stops were not included; the cioccalateria, Pizzeria offering a variety of civitanese pizzas (we received a cold inedible ham and cheese foccacia which no one ate) and the surprise crostata ‘sour cherry pie’. We tried a cornetto, charcuterie board and a gelato only.
A great little walk about Civitavecchia! A little history, plenty of food (and time to eat), a warm welcome, and an amica nuova con Laura! She helped me practice my Italian and also helped us find a bank! Molto bene! A perfect way to spend the morning between cruise weeks.
Our chef was Tony and he was so great! From start to finish, it was so much fun!

Giant pizza, delicious with fair value. Pizzeria Michele in Civitavechia . A great dinner before embarking on Cruiseiro.
We decided to stay close to cruise ship port and explore Civitavecchia. This tour sounded fun and Laura was a great guide. She is knowledgeable and took care of us during this walkabout. We walked thru local markets then had some food/drink samplings which were all delicious. The gelato at the end was a super end to this tour. Would highly recommend. Thank you Laura!
