Wonderful, so beautiful. Ari was very sweet and personable. Only problem, we should have booked a longer ride.
We enjoyed the ride, family of 4, guide was great, it was a nice trail and the horses were very good … kids loved it and want to go back!

Our guide Ava was such a sweetheart, a true cowgirl! My husband thought the horses were great!! Care for them and for us. Beautiful ride! Thank you so much!
It was a nice horseback ride through the picturesque wash in Catalina State Park. Ari was my guide and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the horses.
Every part of our adventure was amazing and fun. Our guide was very engaging and has such a fun personality Made the hour fly by. Our horses were beautiful and sound. We felt very safe and comfortable. And the scenery was everything we could have hoped for.

Beware!! Read this first before booking horseback riding at this place. I was really looking forward to taking my three grandchildren horseback riding and decided to book rides at Rancho de los Cerro. I did so on their website for two adults and my three grandkids for the following week. The website asked for my name, address, phone, etc., and then immediately asked for my credit card info for payment. Next, I was asked for the names of the riders, but it didn’t ask for ages which I had experience at other riding stables in the area. Finally, my reservation was confirmed. Within an hour of booking, I called them to move the reservation up three days because of a conflict that I hadn’t anticipated. The man that I spoke to, after checking his schedule, did accommodate the change. I then asked him if they had any age limits on children riders and he said yes they must be 7 years or older at which time I told him I would have to cancel the reservation as my youngest granddaughter was only 5 which he said he would do. Not too long after, he called back and said that after talking to their office manager, they couldn’t refund my $437 because they had a policy that all cancelations and refunds had to be made seven days in advance. I told him that it was totally unacceptable and got very upset but to no avail. I was told I should have been aware of the age and cancellation policies before making the reservation. I asked for a call from the owner or manager and received none. I have gone back through their website pages and have yet to find any reference to these policies. I finally had to have my credit card company pull back the payment which they said they would do. I have never experienced anything like this and have concluded that Rancho de los Cerro is very poorly managed or unethical or both. Beware!!
