Parque Nacional Addo Elephant, privado de día completo

We had an amazing tour with Zasendle Adventures to the Addo Elephant Park and Giraffe Walk. We learned so much from Riaan and you can tell he is so passionate about South Africa. It was one of the best tours I have ever done. Riaan was also gracious enough to take photos and videos for us and sent them to me. I highly recommend doing this tour!

Booked a full day Addo tour 4 months in advance of a cruise. Paid in full with somewhat restrictive cancellation policies. Needed a private tour for comfort and flexibility. With 2 months to go was asked if we'd share with others, but reiterated our need for a private tour. A week prior to the excursion was asked again if we'd share with another couple as they had problems with a supplier. From that point on I half expected him to cancel on us. Did end up with a private car, with a driver (NOT a licensed tour guide as their booking states). Car was small with varying degrees of A/C and somewhat of an adventure on the rough dirt roads in the park. Got to the park and had to wait half an hour until the owner showed up with 4 other people in his vehicle to pay to get us in. Got to the lunch spot and again waited a half hour for them to show up. Given the limitations of the car we were in and the timeframe of his group, I'm sure they saw more than we did. We got to see as many elephants as we could stand, and the driver tried very hard to park the car at the right angle to take the pictures I wanted. While we saw the park and enjoyed the elephants, did not feel we got the whole experience we were promised ("highly qualified guides" compared to "I'm just a driver!"). Worked out well for the owner as he was able to book a total of 6 people instead of just the 2 of us.

Don't do business with this cheat!We spent €750 on a private safari in Addo.When Riaan pickud us up at our appartment i thought it was a joke when he told us that the old and dirty rented mini van,was the car he rented for this expensive safari.The windows of the minivan couldn't be opened and were too dirty and scratched to take pictures.He said we could cancel the safari and get our money back ,on paper and video.Just a few hours later we received an email telling us we didn;t get the promised refund.His excuse was that the contract mentioned :Transport, Fuel & Guide,but not that the transport turned out to be the dirty,old and unsafe minivan. A horse and couch are also means of transport,but it's not the kind of transport you should expect.He's a sad and little man who's only after your money,knowing there's not much you can do after he cheated on you.Take real could care of this shark !!!!

We had a fantastic day with our guide Riaan. He was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the animals and the nature. The Lunch with ostrich meat and other good things was delicious. It was a great pleasure to drive through the Addo Park the whole day. Much thanks for this wonderful experience to Riaan.

Don't do business with Riaan! This SCAMMER is only interested in your hard-earned money. Riaan offers 4x4 luxury transportation, so that's what you can expect when you make the reservation. In reality he can pick you up in an old, dirty and unsafe bus, with the excuse that the 4x4 is not big enough for 5 people. Why he didn't do that before he came to pick us up is beyond me. Riaan hides behind the excuse that he will pick you up in a luxurious vehicle and that is to be expected. For Riaan, a means of transport is any means of transport he has available, including an old, beat-up bus. Riaan expected us to take pictures through the dirty windows that barely opened and for only €650. He is a disgrace to his profession! We paid €650 for this Safari and when we told him we weren't very happy with the vehicle he picked us up in, he actually offered us a refund, which we happily accepted. We did the safari that day in our own rental SUV. Later that day, Riaan sent an email saying he would not keep his promise, even though we have his confession of guilt on paper and on video. The coward, first promise everything and then go back on his word at home behind his PC, meaning that as a tourist you are powerless! Rent a nice car and do the Addo Safari yourself instead of doing business with this scammer, the entrance costs you barely €20 per person and the park is ideal for it! Our holiday was ruined by this charlatan, so be warned about this stuttering wolf in sheep's clothing!

We had reserved an exclusive private day Safari through Addo. Total price for 5 people €650. The site indicates that the safari is done in a luxury 4x4. We were very surprised when we were picked up by Riaan in an old, beat-up van. We were able to take pictures through the dirty windows that could not be opened. Riaan offered us a refund after we indicated that we were not happy with this means of transport. The gentleman said that the car he proudly poses with on the site was too small for 5 people, hence the old, beat-up bus. We accepted the refund to do the safari ourselves. Despite a signed confession of guilt and a video confession, Riaan indicated later in the day that he would not comply with the confession. The stuttering coward! Do not do business with this scammer, or have him clearly state in writing which means of transport he will use. For Mr Riaan, a vehicle could easily be a cargo bike. He is a scammer through and through, but he is not finished with us yet! According to his site! WHY TRAVEL WITH US?
