El parque es rico en vida silvestre y Monos, perezosos, iguanas, aves de colores y otros animales son fáciles de ver. Después de este tour por la naturaleza, se incluye una visita a una plantación de plátanos donde aprenderá sobre este importante cultivo. NOTA : Esta visita es en una plantación ubicada a lo largo de la carretera principal y la parada se encuentra cerca de las instalaciones de la empresa. No incluye la visita a la empacadora ni a ninguna otra instalación privada en la que los trabajadores desarrollen sus funciones ya que son zonas restringidas.

El Parque Nacional Cahuita es un parque nacional terrestre y marino del Área de Conservación La Amistad del Caribe de Costa Rica ubicado en la costa sur del Caribe en la provincia de Limón, conectado con la localidad de Cahuita. El Parque Nacional Cahuita es único en Costa Rica por su estrecha relación con la comunidad, un ejemplo de gestión compartida entre la comunidad y el gobierno para un desarrollo sostenible a nivel comunitario. La participación de los guardias del parque y la vida comunitaria se destaca a través de una gestión de gobernanza compartida. Conozca el arrecife de coral mejor conservado de la zona del Caribe costarricense y disfrute del paisaje, la cultura y la cocina que se ofrecen en la zona. Playas de arena blanca, un mar turquesa y una diversa vida marina son algunos de los atractivos que le esperan en el Parque Nacional Cahuita, en la provincia de Limón.
Puerto Limón, comúnmente conocido como Limón, es la capital y el centro principal de la provincia de Limón, así como del cantón de Limón en Costa Rica. Es la séptima ciudad más grande de Costa Rica, con una población de más de 55,000 habitantes, y es el hogar de la comunidad afrocostarricense. La provincia del Caribe es un paraíso natural, formado por una combinación de selvas densas, montañas imponentes y playas paradisíacas. Limón tiene el mayor porcentaje de tierra protegida en Costa Rica, así como una amplia variedad de flora y fauna. Su vegetación es exuberante como son las culturas en toda la provincia. Se incluye un recorrido por la ciudad en Limón después del recorrido.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Este tour es exclusivo para pasajeros de cruceros. Si no llega en un crucero, no reserve este tour. El tour opera solo cuando tenemos cruceros en el puerto. La recogida se realiza en la entrada de la puerta principal del muelle. Es una distancia muy corta a pie desde el crucero. Una vez en la entrada del muelle, verás un Guía de Greenway Tours con un cartel con tu nombre. NOTA ESPECIAL SOBRE LA HORA DE RECOGIDA Todos nuestros horarios de recogida están configurados a las 8:00 a. m. de manera predeterminada. SIN EMBARGO: Si su barco llega después de las 8:00 a. m., la recogida será 30 minutos después de la llegada del barco. Puede reservar su recorrido y ajustaremos el tiempo de acuerdo con la llegada de su barco. Si su envío se retrasa, nuestro personal lo esperará hasta el muelle del barco y le permitirá desembarcar. Operamos todos nuestros tours de acuerdo con la llegada del barco.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Arielle did an outstanding job of sharing the rich history and interesting facts about Costa Rica. Very knowledgeable and personable. Our driver, Fernando was an expert in maneuvering us through traffic and pointing out wildlife we may have otherwise driven past.

Ariel was our tour guide and was exceptional. He was personable, answered all our questions and was very easy to understand. Fernando was a great driver and stopped to get us all some delicious bananas and even tried to find a sloth 🦥 for us. I would definitely recommend them for this tour. But I left behind a small brown paper bag with a tiny nativity set that I bought before going on the river eco tour - Jason was the driver. I think that is where I lost it.☹️☹️

Great tour and the tour guides, Natalie, Josue & Geine were great! We saw many animals and learned a lot about the country. If I were to change 1 thing, it would have been to allow more time at the end to do some shopping by the port. But it was a great day

We had a really good experience on this excursion. Natalie, our tour guide, did an amazing job of educating us on the banana industry and showing us as much wildlife as we could find. We saw sloths (2&3 toed) in their natural habitat, a few yellow vipers, some holler monkeys, a cayman and several types of birds.

Enjoyed the tour despite rain in park (rainforest). We wish the tour guide used a portable microphone for all to hear not just those next to him. He did provide very useful information about the plants.

What an amazing day! Natalie, our guide, and Jaynor, our driver, were friendly and knowledgeable. They provided information on the history and culture of Costa Rica, as well as the floral and fauna. And what great eyes, sporting sloths in the trees as we walked or drove and making sure everyone could see and get pictures! I highly recommend this tour group!!
