I would highly recommend this amazing tour. Our tour guide Alp, was amazing! He took us to all the places we requested ans then to some of his favorite spots. We had an amazing Turkish lunch before heading back (Alp chose where to eat) and we were so delighted!
We had the most amazing day!!! Metin P. was the absolute best guide!!! Our driver was also very attentive and was always making sure we were hydrated and comfortable! The car was also very clean and felt like first class. Our guide Metin was so knowledgeable, kind, and hospitable. He catered the day to what we wanted to do and gave us so much information. We appreciated the attention and care. We told him we were really interested in the biblical history of Ephesus and he shared so much information that it made the experience so memorable. We’re truly grateful and we feel like we made a friend.

We really enjoyed the tour! Despite the VERY hot temperatures, we had a great experience. Our tour guide, Esra, was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us informed and educated throughout.
We did this Ephesus tour as part of our stop on our cruise stop with Holland America Oosterdam in July 2026. Booking the tour was very easy with the tour operator responding very quickly to us after booking, providing us with the payment options and meeting logistics. Our ship docked at 7am at Kusadasi and our meeting time was at 830am just outside at the cruise terminal. It is very easy to find your guide as they will have your name on the board. We got to the meeting point at 820am and our guide fantastic guide Ulas was waiting for us there. Our tour was a private tour in a very comfortable van. From our pickup point we drove over to Ephasus which was a fairly short drive away. Our guide gave us the option of starting the tour at the top of Ephasus or at the bottom. If you’re fine with walking and want to see a bit more take the option from the top of the site. Our guide Ulas is a very knowledgeable guide who knows his history. Funny easygoing guide who was very flexible in providing you with options on how you wanted to structure your day. We arrived at Ephasus when it wasn’t too busy so we get a lot of time to enjoy the site. We spent about 1:45 at Ephasus. We walk pretty quickly and have no mobility issues so navigating the site was no issues for us. The entry fee into the site is not included so you just need to purchase the 40 Euro ticket at the entrance. The site itself is wonderful to see. Our guide did a great job explaining to us the history of the site and of the area. From Ephesus we did a quick stop at the Temple of Artemis. Following that we did the optional lunch at a local restaurant. The food at the restaurant was very nice and was 15 Euros per person. After lunch, we stopped by a carpet making shop followed by a pottery making shop. I know I don’t normally like stopping at a lot of these shops but these stops were pretty painless and no pressure to buy anything. After that we stopped at a shop that sold Turkish sweets. Our guide was very flexible in asking us if there was anything else that we wanted to see. It was no issue if we wanted to make another stop. When didn’t have any other items left our guide asked if we wanted to see a fashion show. It sounded a bit odd to be honest but we figured why not. It was a local leather shop where they actually come out on catwalk to show you the goods and afterwards you can browse in the shop. If you’re not into any of the local shops just tell your guide and he can skip whatever you’re not interested in. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. We had an amazing day with our guide Ulas. Ask for him you’ll have a fantastic day with him. If you’re on a cruise don’t worry the guide will get you back to the ship with plenty of time. We finished our tour just after 2.
What an amazing experience. We were 2 and had a driver and guide for the day. The van was pristine( new Mercedes van) with water provided. Very flexible on what we wanted to see or not see, and at the pace we wanted to go. We met at the exit of the port at the arranged time. Communication in advance was excellent. Ulas, our guide was amazing. Knowledgable, relaxed, friendly. I would highly recommend him.
