It was a blast scuba diving. The instructor was very clear on the instructions and took great pictures and videos! I would definitely recommend trying this
Great instructor. All equipment needed provided. Overall the lesson was great for beginners.
States it’s a 2 hour experience, showed up to find out he booked 7 people on the same time slot and only had equipment for 5 people, we showed up, “trained” he took the group of 5 out first come back and gave us two of their tanks and took us, was supposed to be from 10 o clock till 12 o clock, we were done with everything and back in the car by 1130. We only got to dive for approximately 20 mins as did the other group. Definitely was not worth our money or time. Don’t get me wrong, the experience was cool but felt more like a scam than a 2 hour experience.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us Joshua, and we're really glad to hear you found the dive itself enjoyable — that means a lot. We do want to gently clear up a couple of things about how the day is structured. If everyone in the group arrives 30 minutes, there's no need to hold off until the official start time — we're happy to begin at 9:30 and wrap by 11:30, so the full 2-hour experience is still there, just shifted. We'd also like to clarify that there's no "training" involved, as this is not a certification course — if you're referring to the safety briefing, that's a standard part of the experience for every group, not a training session. On the equipment side: your instructor was required to carry a dive computer, so dive times are always logged and can be pulled up if there's ever a question — both tour dives run about 35 minutes each. As for group sizes, that comes down to the instructor's read of conditions that day, not equipment on hand. If he feels conditions are right for split groups, that's the call he'll make, purely for everyone's safety and enjoyment in the water. We really don't take the word "scam" lightly, and we hope this gives a clearer, fairer picture of how the day actually ran. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
The instructor was rude and not thorough, very rushed. Very little time in the water and went so fast that we had trouble keeping up, and couldn't look around. Part of the pictures he gave us were from a different dive.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Richard . We're sorry to hear the pace felt rushed and that you weren't able to take in the experience the way you'd hoped. Regarding the photos: mismatched timestamps are a known bug with GoPro Hero units, but the file's actual creation date/time corresponds correctly to your dive, so we're confident the images are from your session. We also want to share something that meant a lot to us. When one of your group participants wasn't feeling well and had to step back last minute, your instructor took the time to personally reach out on your behalf, asking to be given a full refund — even though it fell outside our standard 24-hour cancellation window. We honored that request the same day {as you already know}, simply because he cared enough to explain and ask. It's a small thing, perhaps, but it reflects the kind of care he brings to his work, and we felt it deserved to be recognized alongside your feedback.
MALIN IS WONDERFUL AND PATIENT!
It was 4 of us, and we didn’t even go because the instructor was immediately rude to us. The instructor has an accent I can’t even understand, and he was being rude to my dad for not speaking English when my dad understands it. I wouldn’t recommend, don’t waste your money! We spent the money to have a good time but it was quite the opposite of good.
Thank you for your feedback. Safety is always our #1 priority. As clearly stated in the tour description, the tour is conducted in English only, because understanding the safety briefing and instructions is essential before participating. If a guest cannot understand the safety briefing, we cannot allow them to dive. We’re sorry you were disappointed, but we strongly encourage guests to read the tour description carefully before booking to make sure it meets their needs.
Great experience only negative was the water was a little murky. The instructor was great very knowledgeable.
My son and I went for his first time and the instructor was excellent
I was very pleased with the experience, this was my first time ever scuba diving and same with the friend that I brought along and the water was murky but still visible to a degree and it was due to the tropical storm but stuff happens but even so it was awesome and I would greatly recommend this experience, I will be coming back when I find myself in Florida again.
I had one of my best experiences scuba diving with mr Malin, he was so thorough on his instruction and guidance and made it so fun and interesting, the divesitr is beautiful and full of life, i have no complaints, really a great experience i 100% recomend
