The climb is super fund and hard for me, but our tour guide Reginaldo is very patient. The rope climbing may be difficulty for people without much upper body strength. I am so glad we did it instead of taking cable car up. If you are young, do this to visit sugarloaf mountain!
The guide was fantastic, very friendly. The views are amazing. You need to be a little bit trained to do this experience
For this group of reasonably fit non-hikers and climbers this was a challenging but very rewarding experience. Not for the faint of heart; the heights may be too much for the less adventurous. Our guide Marcos and his team were amazing and very helpful. Highly recommended for those looking for a tiresome yet unforgettable climb.
The organization and the prices was good. Was so nice meet a lot of people from another places sharing like family. Sice from start 'till the end was so amazing. Thanks !! 😁
Marcos was a total professional. He responded promptly and confirmed scheduling. He was so friendly, by the end of the trip he felt like good family. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend him to all.
The tour, led by guide Marcos, was excellently executed. The ascent was challenging and demanding at certain points, but with detailed instructions and encouraging words from Marcos, we all reached the summit without any problems. The view of Rio during the ascent and from the top was breathtaking and unforgettable and well worth the effort. I highly recommend this tour 😊
I totally loved the experience........ Excellent group and coordination of the guides...... Very fun and different.
Extremely disappointed - showed up for the hike only to be told once I was already there that it was cancelled. The associated company was unhelpful with answering my queries for a refund for my transportation costs and I can find no other details of who to contact or how to contact trip advisor. I am happy to remove this review if someone will get in touch to discuss compensation for my transport to and from the mountain.
As we've previously communicated, arriving at the location without prior notice is impractical. This outdoor activity requires careful planning and organization; it's not a casual event like attending a church service. Attempting to coerce us for financial gain will prove ineffective. We do not engage in negotiations under duress.
I really enjoyed my first climbing and hiking experience ever up sugarloaf mountain, and even though it was my first time I felt very comfortable as Marcos was a fantastic guide. I would recommend this to anyone as it is very different and more exhilarating than just getting the cable car up the mountain. I will definitely be doing this again before I leave Rio!
This climb was an absolute highlight, and the people here helping us get to the peak were extremely informative, professional, and easy-going. Marco was one of the guide and he did such a great job. He made sure everyone was safe and was having a good time. He put the safety of everyone first and was focused on that the entire trip. He took the time to also take pictures of everyone, really to appreciate.
