El recorrido comienza a las 11 a. m.: disfrute del lujo de Knossos para usted solo y disfrute de una visita guiada por este magnífico monumento de la civilización minoica, hogar de leyendas como el Minotauro y el Laberinto. Únase a nuestro tour a pie en grupo pequeño (hasta 12 pax) en el palacio de Knossos con un guía turístico autorizado. Encuentra a tu guía junto a la entrada del sitio arqueológico, justo al lado del restaurante Little Garden junto a la taquilla. Su guía llevará un cartel con el logotipo de WeGuide.

Knossos is wonderful. It can be very hot. Heraklion museum. Is one of the best in the world. Transportation between Knossos and museum can be tricky. Our guide was a great help.
Our outdoor guide was incredible. It was a very hot day (June in a heat wave) and our guide took us through all the key spots and allowed us to take pictures before giving more detailed explanations in the shade. We had a small group, so it made navigating very easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and tied in the mythology to actual events to piece everything together seamlessly. Very professional and experienced. We took the bus to the museum after, and due to heavy traffic, timing was tight. Our museum guide was quiet, but delightful and took us through the high points of Minoan society and artifacts.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and cognizant of other people around us. She had great stories to share. I was extremely lucky and was the only person on the tour at the museum. She gave me an in-depth tour and then I took more time to look around on my own. You need to arrange your own transportation from Knosos to the museum.

Eleni Vazakopoulou, from treasuresofcrete, was our guide. We were a family of 6, including two girls of 10 and 7, who are very interested in Greek Mythology. Eleni made the ruins of Knossos come alive for them as well as giving us all the historical information. The same was true of the museum. She also managed the day so we had a break for a meal and had activities for the girls. Even though it was a cold damp day it was fantastic and the highlight of our stay in Crete. I could not recommend Eleni more highly.

Very good tour and guides at Knossos and the museum. There are guides available for hire at the entrance to Knossos as well. The museum is definitely worth it for those interested in history. You should be aware that all the tall structures, pillars and frescos at Knossos are reconstructions.
