Itinerario

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, personable & friendly. Don’t hesitate to book this experience, you won’t regret it!
Dear Lynne, Thank you so much for your wonderful words — we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are especially happy to hear that your visit to Knossos Palace and the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion was one of the best tours you’ve ever been on. That is exactly the experience we aim to create for every guest. Akrivi will be absolutely delighted to read your kind comments, she is one of our most passionate and knowledgeable guides, and your feedback means a great deal to her. It was a real pleasure having you with us, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back to Crete for more unforgettable moments.
Very knowlegeable guide and informative tour. Bring water with you when you tour Knossos - its very hot even early in the day and there is little shade.
Thank you!
Akrivi Chatzigeorgiou’s expert guiding services provided us with a well organized and highly informative tour of Knossos and the Herakion Archeological Museum. She is well spoken and provides interesting commentary. She can speak to those with a deep interest in Minoan & Greek history or those looking for an introduction. She knows Knossos and the museum very well, and avoids the crowds, when possible, making the experience much more enjoyable. She provided door to door service for us from our hotel, making the experience seamless. Thank you Akrivi! It was a highlight of our Greek tour. We normally would not spend the extra for a private guide, but this experience was well worth it.
Thank you !!!
The owner of the tour business, Yannis, picked us up at the hotel and drove us to Knossos. Yannis impressed us with his friendliness and professionalism. He promised a good tour with a trained archaeological guide, and we were not at all disappointed. At Knossos, Eleni guided us through the ruins of the Minoan Palace at Knossos, making sense of the layout of the building complex. She provided the political, social, and economic context behind the Minoans. This was especially helpful in understanding their civilization. Following the tour of the Palace at Knossos, we were driven to the archaeological museum, where Eleni walked us through the museum, explaining and discussing the museum’s most significant exhibits. After a fascinating two hours with Ellen at the museum, we were free to continue looking through the rest of the museum, which is excellent. Everyone, from Yannis (the owner) to Eleni (the archaeological guide) to Demetria (who checked us in at the Palace), was exceptionally friendly and professional. One could not possibly hope for a better crew! Well done to all! In all, this tour should be mandatory for anyone interested in the history of the Minoans.
Thank you so much !!!!
Fantastic site, bigger than I expected and lots of information available. It was very busy so be prepared to queue . Shops close by too for souvenirs or drinks etc We went by open top tour bus, the open top bus was nice but not worth the extra..could have just used a bus directly to Knossos
Thank you !!
We had a wonderful day, from beginning to end on this tour. We were picked up promptly by Yannis, a super friendly driver, who shared lots of interesting history about the island and Heraklion on the way there. He made sure we found our guide, Katerina, who gave us an animated and in-depth historical background of both the Knossos Palace, as well as the items in the museum. We highly recommend this to anyone who is able to---do it! You won't be disappointed.
Thank you so much, happy anniversary!!!
The tour of the Knossis Palace and the Architectural Museum in Heraklion, Crete, Greece was incredible. An archeologist led our tour and she brought everything to life. It was interesting to be with someone who had the background and knowledge she brought to the tour. I regret I do not have her name, but it was a Viator tour. I was sorry we had to arrange our own transport as we were about 1 hour away, but it was well worth the trip.
Thank you so much !!
We are a family of 3. I myself knew nothing at all. My wife has a decent knowledge and our 10 year old daughter was definitely too young. Our guide Johanna was like the greatest most thought provoking teacher you could ask for. Without a doubt the greatest guided tour I have ever experienced
Thank you so much
Perfect communication and skip-the-line tickets highly recommended given the queue and the heat!! The site is very rebuilt but worth seeing with the unmissable archaeological museum of Heraklion.
Thank you for your kind word!
