I really enjoyed our guide, the water was calm, the kayaking was easy and the hike was also really mild. Recommend wearing tall rain boots or the ones they provided for getting in and out of the water - the waterfalls were gorgeous. The lake was mellow. No bears were seen.
We had a beautiful kayak on bear lake. Zea was our guide, with a wealth of knowledge. On the way to lake we stopped at a salmon wier, which was amazing to see. They provided a shuttle from our hotel. Everyone was very pleasant.
Our guide Katie was great! The lake was beautiful and our kids (9,6) loved it! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a leisurely paddle around the lake - we saw eagles, salmon and other wildlife.

<p>This was a beautiful relaxing experience ! It was a little overcast but that was not an issue . Meg was an exceptional guide who covered everything . This lake is loaded with Eagles and they did not disappoint !</p>
<p>Great excursion!! First time in a kayak and what scenery around Bear Lake. Only made better by our spunky guide Bailey. She was a real comfort to the first timers in our group. Competent, clear, light hearted and encouraging. Couldn't have ask for more.</p>
