Has a great trip with Haku tours and the guide went above and beyond to explain everything in detail including a history of Peru which was very interesting. I took the tour with two teenagers and my mum and everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend the guide and Haku tours
Excellent excursion. Thanks to Silvana and Miguel! We learned a lot about pre-Incan civilizations.
Our tour guide Sylvana was an excellent source of additional information in the museum, which is a must see before you tour the extensive site of pre Inca and Inca monuments. Our guide also managed to get my wife and I taken by car up to the Temple of the Sun, as being elderly and disabled she was not able to walk that far. Our friendly guide did everything she could to make our trip very worthwhile. We think this tour was far more informative of the history of pre-conquest Peru than a trip to Machu Pichu might have been for us even though this extensive site is far less well known. Highly recommended guide and half-day tour.
If you’re looking for a hidden gem near Lima, the Pachacamac Ruins is it. Pachacamac gave us a fascinating glimpse into Peru’s ancient history. The archaeological site is incredibly well-preserved, it also offered breathtaking views of the surrounding desert and coastline. Our guides Silvana and Alex, were very knowledgeable., and our driver Marco navigated the busy streets of Lima with ease. Great half-day tour!
This is a good tour, but the site is very dusty and some of the trail is uphill, so be prepared. Our guide Saul was good but he did not manage our preparations well. We left our hats, sunscreen and water in the van for what he said was 10 minutes (but was 20) then didn't warn us when we got out for a 40 minute walk. I ended up with a sunburn.
Silvana was an excellent guide. She explained the history very well and answered all our questions. The 3 of us were the only ones on the tour which was great! Ricardo’s driving was careful and skilled—he navigated smoothly around the traffic and we always felt very safe. This place was so interesting and such a nice introductory tour on our first day in Peru.
A true hidden gem. I was blown away by the size of this archeological site. Half day tour from Lima is a must. 4 different civilizations contributing to Pachacmac. A vital trade and communincation hub for the Inca highway.
Silvana and her driver are fantastic. Silvana explains things greatly, has gtrat English (which helps me) and speaks Spanish with my wife. She is super knowledgeable and helped us truly understand what we were seeing. They are super patient and the info they provide is very valuable. I may have enjoyed this experience more than any other since we have been here. They have my highest recommendation. They will take good care of you.
Thank you for your kind words! We are delighted that Silvana and her driver provided such a fantastic experience during your visit to the Pachacamac Inka Pyramids. We are especially glad her bilingual skills allowed both you and your wife to fully connect with the history and culture of the site. Your high recommendation means a lot to us! Best regards, Marketing Team
Cesar and Cirillo, our guide and our driver were incredible. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny and just awesome. Wish we could take them everywhere we travel.

Maverick arrived on time and was a great guide for this tour, especially as it was personalised with only us as guests. Transport was very comfortable. Maverick was very informative about many aspects of Lima and Peru which he discussed as we travelled to and from the historical site. A little more time at the museum would have been good.
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad Maverick provided a personalized and informative tour for you. We take note of your comment regarding the time at the museum to continue improving our experiences. We're happy you found the transport comfortable! Best regards, Marketing Team
