We are so glad we had Waldo as our guide for the food tour ... he did a awesome job sharing stories and history of Ottawa with us as we made our way through Major's Hill Park and down into the ByWard Market. We had a great time visiting many different places within the ByWard Market. The pace of the tour was perfect ... we were able to spend enough time at each stop to enjoy the amazing food while soaking in the vibe of each place we stopped. We had purchased the add-on for the beverages ... we are glad we did - the cider and beer were excellent! The afternoon felt like we were hanging out with a friend as he showed us his favorite places ... we couldn't have imagined a more perfect tour! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to eat their way around the market!

This was a great experience for tourists and locals. It was interesting to learn about local history and its influence on the food. Hannah, our guide was a delight. She was personable, enthusiastic and enjoyed what the group had to offer ( lots of laughs)! Be prepared to sample a lot. Quite the variety to taste. Hannah answered all of our questions. And was incredibly patiently with our rambunctious group. This is a great activity to do when you are visiting Ottawa!!

Fantastic activity to do with friends and family. Easy walk to designated eateries.Our guide ,Hannah, was incredibly knowledgeable about Ottawa history. We sampled all what Ottawa eateries had to offer.

I would highly recommend this tour. Hannah was very friendly and made the tour interesting. We saw places and tasted food that we probably that we wouldn’t have done on our own. There isn’t a huge amount of walking but lots of tasting. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours learning some local history.

Our tour guide Waldo was terrific and deserves five stars. All of the food sites were good as well, but the one thing that was a little disappointing was how close all of the restaurants were to each other. I've been on a lot of food tours and the itinerary usually takes us to different areas. On this tour it seems like we didn't walk more than a block or two in any different direction. Again, Waldo was terrific and the food was good, we're just used to food tours that also show us a little more of the city than a couple of blocks square area. I'd recommend this tour but I think it ought to be made a little more clear just how concentrated an area this really is.
