Thanks Mark. We are blessed with lovely accessible environment for the local community and visitors. Age and ability should not an issue. The flip side of overtourism is under the radar Ottawa-Gatineau where we have the time and inclination for hospitality.

The wife and I had a great experience circling around the canal and taking in some of Ottawas landmarks in our 2 hour tour. The company offers e-bikes but the terrain is mostly flat so get an ordinary bike if you’re reasonably fit. Our tour guide Art was very knowledgeable and friendly taking some breaks along the way to make sure we had access to water and toilet stops. The bikes are well maintained with brakes and gears working seamlessly. A bike offers you a completely different experience of the city and I would highly recommend this tour. The venue is located at canal level down the stairs from the chateau Laurier

Even though the guide was knowledgeable and interesting, too many people on the path and the slow pace made this activity less enjoyable. The bike provided however was very comfortable and in good condition.
