Osaka : Castillo & Ciudad Destacados Tour a pie

I had a fantastic time with Nana on the Osaka Full Day Tour! My initial plan was to tackle Osaka alone based on information I gathered from social media, but luckily i was recommended this tour by Hiroko, my Nara and Uji tour guide earlier that week, who also ended up accompanying us on the tour. Since I was the only person registered, it turned into a private tour of Osaka, making the experience relaxed, and incredibly personable. It gave me the chance to really get to know two locals, while exploring Osaka’s incredible sights and sampling some of its amazing food. It was such a fun day! I traveled in from Kyoto Station using the detailed directions Hiroko had thoughtfully given me a few days earlier. We started at Osaka Castle, and afterward, we visited several shrines - including the popular Namba Yasaka Jinja! - before heading to lunch where I tried kushikatsu and takoyaki (octopus balls), two of the local delicacies. We then headed to Dotonbori, where I got the classic photo with the famous Glico Running Man Sign. Even though Nana was following an itinerary, it genuinely felt like I was spending the day with two old friends showing me their city for the first time. Nana was extremely knowledgeable about every place we visited, happily answering every question I had, and there was never a dull moment. Taking this tour you get a much deeper understanding of the history and cultural significance behind the places you visit—insights you simply can’t get by visiting them just because they’re popular on social media. So in that regard alone it’s time well spent. I highly recommendt that you take this tour if you’re ever in Osaka.

Great walking experience tour of Osaka with Ciel. Had a great time and enjoyed all the great sites and lunch. I would recommend it very much.

We had the most wonderful time touring the sights of Osaka with the highly knowledgeable Nanami. The tour was both interesting and informative. The tour also offered different experiences such as trying local cuisine. This is the second tour we have done with ‘Panoramic Tours’ and we look forward to booking tours with them next time we visit Japan. Best wishes Sharon and Pete (UK).

I was recommended this tour while on the Nara and Uji tour that this company also offers. There were only another guest and I, so a small group which made things easier and more personal. The tour takes you to all of Osaka’s key highlights at a comfortable pace, allowing plenty of time to take in each location. Our guide Nanami was fantastic, she shared plenty of fascinating historical facts along the way and did a great job keeping both of us interested and engaged. We took so many pictures and had a good laugh, it was a great day out and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Osaka. Nanami also kindly rode the train with me on the way back as we were both going back to Kyoto, which was a really nice touch. Thank you for a day full of history and wonderful memories!

I had the best day EVER! I had gone on a previous tour in Nara a couple days before and they were able to schedule a tour for Saturday just for me🤩 this was really thoughtful I had two AMAZING ladies (Nana & I’m so sorry I forgot the other woman’s name) but they were so lovely, so knowledgeable and funny, I was worried to be the only one when I was on the way there but it was great, never any awkward moments, and we spoke the entire time and I never felt for a second that it was quiet or boring. I got to see many places in Osaka, the castle was beautiful and the busy city in the heart of Osaka was also very interesting. The food was also great we had a buffet where you fry your own choices of meat and vegetables, it was really delicious and then to finish we went to the busy street food markets and that was also great to see. It was really the highlight of my Japan trip and I can’t thank the two girls enough for such a lovely time, I was so sad it had to end. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Osaka.
