The bear sanctuary was worth the visit if only to support an organization working towards a very good cause. It’s heartbreaking to see and hear the horrors done to these bears. Bran castle was a bit underwhelming but is considered a must see in the area… Peles was much more beautiful and enjoyable. The fortress was massive but unfortunately is not available to travel inside. Really enjoyed meeting Katalin, he was a great guide/transport.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again. Transylvania has many places to visit.
We ended up in a large group to see the bears, so it felt crowded. The bears were, of course, fantastic and the guide was good. We only had 75 minutes at Bram Castle, the itinerary said 120 minutes. The fortress is closed, we drove nearby but didn't stop to see the grounds. The tour should have been from 8.30 to 16.00 - we were back in Brasov just before 14.00. The fortress has been closed for a long time and we were supposed to see the grounds. The tour was disappointing as we expected more time to see more things. Our guide was helpful and informative
We are sorry that you did not have a successful trip. The rest of the group was satisfied. The whole time at the sanctuary there was a large group because there are only 2 groups accepted in a day. At Bran Castle the visit is 40 minutes and you also had extra time outside. The 120 minute time is written on the website for the busy period when you have to wait 1 hour in line. And in Râşnov if you read the description you see exactly what was offered and that the Fortress is closed.
This was the perfect day. Started with the incredible bear sanctuary - the guides were so passionate! Then off to Dracula’s castle - creepy & fascinating! Then we ended at the fortress - filled with history. The perfect 4 hour day. Nothing was rushed and the entire day was pleasant. Our guide & driver Catalin was so knowledgeable about Romania, its history and all of the sites we went to. He walked us to each entrance, told us how to navigate each site and left of time for a quick coffee & shopping. 5 stars!!!!
Thank you for your appreciation and we are glad that we were able to offer you a good day and trip.
Really loved this day trip. The guide, Catalin, was punctual, friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. My highlight was the bear sanctuary and overall it was an enjoyable, well paced day. Definitely recommend!
Thank you for traveling with the Brasovtravel company and we look forward to seeing you on other trips
Our Guite was very Good ! It was a private tour, so they take us almost everywhere in Brasov, and some places that he decide is interesting to see ! Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks Niki! It was a pleasure to have clients like you! We look forward to you next spring!
Our guide Caitilin (apologies if incorrect spelling) picked us up right on time out front of our hotel. The tour is private so we had drive around in a comfortable new BMW sedan. Caitilin pointed out and explained some landmarks of Braşov, as well as the history. The bear sanctuary is about half hour away, and is an amazing place. Local park rangers escort you through the park, with history’s of each bear you see, and explain how the park operates. Such magnificent animals and a pleasure to see them. Walk through takes about 1 hour and cost 55 lei for entry, and additional 50 for photography (free on phone). Râşnov fortress is not far away: amazing views of the mountain range behind and the flatlands in front. Be prepared for some steep waking and some jagged/rocky paths once in the fortress. Caitilin patiently waits while we did both the sanctuary and fortress. He took us back to Braşov his the nearby ski resort town, and also a lookout point just above Braşov to get good pictures. A very nice morning out and Caitilin was great.
Thanks for your appreciation and for the beautiful description of the trip. We try to make the client happy with beautiful days of story with pleasant memories!
