Viaje privado de un día al ejército de terracota y al palacio de Huaqing

Este viaje de un día lo llevará al lado este de Xian y visitará dos sitios históricos importantes, que coincidentemente adyacentes entre sí, el Ejército de Terracota y el Palacio de Huaqing. El guía local lo acompañará a admirar la excavación más significativa en los años 90 y verá la gran formación del Ejército de Terracota, de la cual conocerá la historia de Qin y el primer Emperador en la historia china, Qin Shi Huang. Por la tarde, se dirigirá al palacio de Huaqing y se sorprenderá con los pabellones de la era Tang, las piscinas de lotos y los jardines mientras escucha la gran historia de amor de Lady Yang.

Itinerario
Comenzaremos a las 7:30 a.m., que es un poco temprano en la mañana para evitar las multitudes. Aproximadamente 1 hora después, llegaremos al Museo del Ejército de Terracota. Este museo está construido justo en el sitio original del ejército de terracota como una gran protección. Verás que el museo está compuesto por tres pozos, que contenían diferentes figuras de terracota y armas clasificadas según sus diferentes roles en una batalla. Nos centraremos en el hoyo 1 y el hoyo 2 ya que estos dos contienen la mayoría de las figuras descubiertas. Se dice que este sitio tiene un total de 8000 soldados, pero solo podemos ver parte de ellos en este momento. Algunos de ellos permanecen sin excavar. A partir de este breve recorrido, aprenderá sobre la historia, la sociedad y la cultura de la dinastía Qin.
Por la tarde, se dirigirá al último sitio de esta excursión de un día: el palacio de Huaqing. Era un palacio donde el emperador Longji de la dinastía Tang se alejaba de la corte estresante y disfrutaba de las aguas termales por las cuales este lugar es muy famoso. El emperador tenía una concubina de fama mundial llamada Yang Yuhuan, que usualmente se bañaba aquí. Es por eso que verás un par de bañeras antiguas aquí. Se lo pasaron muy bien en este palacio y dejaron una historia de amor maravillosa para las generaciones posteriores. Hoy en día, todavía verás los árboles que plantaron juntos y bajo los cuales hicieron deseos de vivir juntos hasta la muerte. Muchos amantes vienen aquí para hacer deseos también. Después del recorrido, serás trasladado de regreso a la ciudad y descansar.

Our tour guide Stephanie was amazing. She went above and beyond our expectations. She was very knowledgeable and clear. It was quite an experience. She suggested the Silk Road show after the tour and made an effort to get us good tickets for the performance and waited on her own time. The show was spectacular and we would definitely see it again if we get another chance. We would highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Xian.

Excellent tour of the Terracotta Army and the very interesting Huaqing Palace, which was once a hot spring for the enjoyment of the emperor and his entrourage. There is even some fascinating 20th-Centrury histoy to discover in regards to Chiang Kai Shek and the so-called "XI'an Incident". Well worth a visit and Stefanie will certainly look after you and answer your questions, and give you key insights into the history and importance of the various sites you may chose to visit with Stefanie as your guide. Highly recommended, and Stefanie will arrange all the necessary tickets, drop-offs and pick-ups, lunch etc. We were very well looked after, well fed, and had a much clearer understanding of Xi'an and its importance in Chinese history.

The terracotta army was amazing and we were lucky because there was the the farmer who founded it. It was an honor to meet with him and we could make a photo and he gave us autogram as well. The Huaqing palace was also beautiful and interesting, but if someone wants to see all part of then it would need almost a whole day. And finally we were lucky again because we could go to watch the Tuo Ling Legend show and it was also amazing. So we would like to thank everything for our tour guide Stefanie, who organized an unforgettable day full of experiences for us.
