Una manera conveniente y sencilla de conocer y explorar el Viejo San Juan es con un guía local experto que lo guiará en un sencillo paseo histórico de 2 horas por la sección más antigua de la ciudad. Después del recorrido, comprenderá la historia detrás del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico, sus vínculos únicos con los EE. UU., así como su rica herencia española, india taína y de África occidental. Perfecto para todas las edades, el recorrido explorará lugares como La Casa Estrecha y La Catedral de San Juan Bautista, la venerada catedral del Viejo San Juan, que es el edificio religioso más grandioso de Puerto Rico. Además, descubrirá partes del impresionante sistema defensivo de la ciudad, incluidas sus murallas, la única puerta de entrada que queda, y Fortaleza, ¡el fuerte conocido como el "error" que cometieron los españoles! Nuestros tours también visitan La Rogativa, La Capilla de Cristo y muchos otros sitios "imperdibles".

Nos detendremos en la Catedral y discutiremos su rica historia y su lugar en la vida cultural, política y religiosa del Viejo San Juan. El acceso interior a ciertos lugares de interés puede variar debido al horario de funcionamiento, los servicios religiosos o eventos especiales. Siempre se anima a los huéspedes a visitar los interiores de forma independiente antes o después del tour cuando esté disponible.
Caminaremos dentro del Cuartel de Ballajá y disfrutaremos de la arquitectura y la historia.
Caminaremos por la Iglesia recientemente renovada. El acceso interior a ciertos lugares de interés puede variar debido al horario de funcionamiento, los servicios religiosos o eventos especiales. We loved our historical walking tour of Old San Juan! Our guide, Leslie, was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Old San Juan, and she was also super funny and entertaining. We had such a good time learning about the buildings, the streets, the statues, and the history - Leslie even taught us about the pop culture of Puerto Rico! I would highly recommend this tour to adults or families with teenagers. Our family of 4 had a great time!

My husband and I took this 2-hour walking tour of Old San Juan, and it was a wonderful experience.
