Continuamos hacia el antiguo Riyadh, comenzando en el centro de la ciudad, visitando el tradicional Dirah Souq (famoso por comprar alfombras antiguas y otras antigüedades útiles del patrimonio saudí). El paseo está impregnado de los aromas de la fragancia de sándalo y otros aromas de oriente. El zoco es conocido por la ropa de hombre y es entretenido ver la subasta que tiene lugar todos los viernes.
Después de esto, visitamos el Fuerte de Masmak, que se encuentra a poca distancia del Zoco Viejo y cuya importancia está ligada a la creación del 3er Reino Saudita, el moderno en el que vivimos. El palacio fortificado fue construido durante el reinado de Abdullah bin Rashid. en el año 1895 dC para servir como guarnición militar para el ejército de Abdullah bin Rashid. Su Majestad el Rey Abdulaziz, el padre de la nación actual, capturó el fuerte en 1902, marcando el comienzo de la reconquista de Arabia por parte de la Casa de Saud.
Desde allí nos dirigiremos a la famosa Kingdom Tower y su Sky Bridge para ver Riad desde un mirador panorámico a casi 300 metros sobre la ciudad.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Inicio del tour: Nuestro tour comenzará a las 14:30 Hrs, pero la recogida es de 30 a 60 minutos antes. Recogida: Recogeremos a sus clientes en la mayoría de los principales hoteles de Riyadh. El tiempo de recogida varía entre 1 hora y 30 minutos antes del inicio del recorrido en el punto terminal. Te confirmaremos un día antes a una hora precisa por correo electrónico. Dejar: después del recorrido, nuestro vehículo dejará a los pasajeros en su hotel en Riyadh

Access to Sky Bridge is a bit hidden, but then it goes up to the wonderful bridge which allows great views of the city.

We went to the kingdom towers and the signage to the bridge was not very clear. After asking a few people and finally finding the place..going up…paying…it seemed like the staff were bored , they used sign language instead of warm friendly welcomes. Went for sunset and it was really warm up there - we couldnt wait till it got dark so we left

We have changed our Hotel and have given the new hotel information into the Tripadvisor booking “update your pickup location”and got a confirmation, but our guide was at pickup time in the former hotel. Tripadvisor has not updated this information to the Tour operator. So we lost over one hour of our half day trip. Our guide Khuram was very friendly and gave good explanations during the tour. He tried everything to be on time at the Skybridge that we were able to see the sunset, but it was gone already. Our learning is that we will never update changes to Tripadvisor anymore, only directly to the Tour operator.
