Fantastic. Shauni gave us a detailed history of Canterbury beginnings and old architecture of building including the eaves. The mother Church, the Canterbury Cathedral and story of Thomas Beckett. The walk around outside the Cathedral was informative. By the time we had our solo visit inside the we were glad that ,we did tour first. That made our day visit to Canterbury from London brilliant!
Margaret was our guide. Very clear and concerned with the safety of the group and steering us to shaded areas on a very hot day. As a former history teacher and citizen of the city, she was very clear and well-informed. A very interesting 90-minute tour.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your tour with Margaret, and appreciate you joining our tour on such a hot day!
David our guide was extremely knowledgable and very witty. This guy knows how to lead a guided tour . He didn’t rush any of the info at each of the stops , nor did he dwell overlong, and read the mood of the group…to pilgrims as everyone visiting Canterbury gets called…and was conscious of the extreme heat and sunshine that was prevalent that day. I liked his easy manner and style of guiding us around his city. There wasn’t a question he didn’t answer from the group . I’d recommend a walking tour when you visit this city.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable walking tour. Our guide (I want to say her name was Catherine but I'm not sure) was excellent and very informative but funny too. A great way to see the highlights and understand the history of this beautiful city.

We had an enjoyable walk with Clare, our knowledgeable guide. It was good to be shown things we had missed in our earlier walkabout. The guide gave plenty of info about the city and cathedral’s long history. 90 minutes passed very quickly as our guide was engaging and offered interesting anecdotes at each stopping point.
It's great to hear that you enjoyed your tour and discovered some new places :) Thank you for your review

Really good guide, very informative. Nice pace and more talking than walking which was good for some of the people on the tour
