Nuestros guías son experimentados y conocedores y le llevarán en un viaje por el cielo nocturno. Aprende a encontrar el norte y la ubicación de nuestros triángulos estacionales, constelaciones y planetas. Usando punteros láser de alta potencia, le proporcionaremos una experiencia entretenida y escolástica, con historias sobre civilizaciones antiguas, mitología griega y la evolución del Cosmos. Nuestros telescopios funcionan con un teclado y son tan fáciles de usar como enviar un texto. Los telescopios están preprogramados con nuestra lista de objetos para la noche. Pulsando un botón en el teclado se mueve el telescopio al siguiente objeto. Veremos regularmente los siguientes tipos y clases de objetos: Galaxias, nebulosas, cúmulos estelares, estrellas dobles y binarias, planetas, luna terrestre, cúmulos globulares, cometas y más. Dependiendo del tiempo, la Estación Espacial Internacional (ISS) y los trenes Starlink pueden verse pasar por encima.

Stargazing Moab se complace en recibirlos a ustedes, familiares y amigos para una entretenida noche de observación de estrellas y astronomía bajo los cielos oscuros certificados internacionalmente de Moab, UT. Comenzando con un corto paseo a través de un modelo a escala de nuestro sistema solar, nuestros guías le familiarizarán con nuestros planetas vecinos a medida que el crepúsculo astronómico comienza a ponerse. Cada huésped descansa en su propia cápsula de gravedad cero con una manta y un par de prismáticos. Estas cápsulas se adaptan a su cuerpo, eliminando los puntos de presión para que sea cómodo y fácil ver el cielo lleno de estrellas. Nuestros guías de astronomía presentarán un programa de 2 horas que incluye telescopios de última generación y punteros láser para guiarlo alrededor de las constelaciones y objetos del cielo nocturno. También proporcionamos a los huéspedes una vista de cerca de los objetos celestes (galaxias, nebulosas, cúmulos) a través de nuestros potentes telescopios. También se ofrecen bebidas calientes, como chocolate caliente, café y té.

This was an excellent evening activity! Devin has a fun way of delivering lots of information that makes it very interesting for all. They have a top notch setup, including several telescopes, a hot chocolate and coffee stand, binoculars, and bean bag lounges with blankets. We highly recommend this while in Moab!

The event is hosted by Devon a very educated and entertaining astronomer! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Additionally her camera/telescope assistants were also very professional and well prepared. My husband (who loves studying the stars/space) and I loved it!

I was visting Moab on an Amtrak vacations 4 ( read: no car). I thought i could maybe take a rideshare to/from the tour location. Unfortunately the nature of ride-shares meant I didn’t find out nothing was available to take me until it was time to leave. Upon finding out (about an hour or so before the start time) I tried to repeatedly contact the operator to let them know of the problem and need to get transport or cancel. I received no response. It was only sometime after tour start that I received a “where are you” call that I was able to explain the situation. I was told they do offer a shuttle service to the tour site, but nothing on this page or their website says that. Rather it says they do not provide any transportation. I have yet to hear anything back about a refund or compensation despite the phone call referring to such possibility. Overall ability to communicate with operator in case of a problem was really poor and caused me to waist $200+ of money with no recourse.

Amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic. Devon was the BEST guide to the stars ever! As an astronomer, she pointed out the constellations, told the stories, and showed us distant galaxies with digital telescopes. Truly an amazing experience. We did this stargazing excursion, rafting, and canyoneering. This is tied for first! Highly recommend!
