We didn’t get to go because Hurricane Lala came through and broke trees which blocked the harbor and the run off from the island made the water murky. I gave them 5 stars even though it was canceled because 1. They didn’t lie and take our money by taking us out even though we wouldn’t see any sharks and 2. They tried to get us rescheduled on a day that would work. It just wasn’t in the stars for us. But they can’t control the weather, I appreciate the honesty and because of that I will recommend. Next time we come, we will call them to take us to see the sharks! We spent the day shopping and walking the beach.
We had originally gone with an different provider who’s cage is located further north in the water but we saw no sharks with them because the tiger sharks scared the smaller Galapagos sharks from coming but then the tigers didn’t come close enough to see either. So the operator told us about this company whose cage is further south and away from the tiger sharks so we would have a better chance. We saw several Galapagos sharks and it was the highlight of our whole time in Oahu for my 9 year old. The two guides were easy going and great at making everyone feel safe. Highly recommend this company. The other nice thing is once they put you in the cage they push the cage away from the boat so it doesn’t rock around as much as the other company we used that has to leave the cage straps to the boat because it has a pelxiglass window that the currant drags down when not attached. Also the bars in the cage of this company were better suited for short people I could reach them the other company I could not reach the bars with my feet. This one also had other bars with 9 year old said were better for her as well.
Great experience. The staff was great
Thank you for your awesome review. Our captains and crew genuinely love sharing the beauty of the sharks and north shore of Oahu with wonderful folks like yourself.
My son and I went on the 6am tour bright and early. The waters were very rocky once we were in the cage. We got swung in every direction but that was expected. Our guides were awesome and very nice and informative! Take your go pro or waterproof case if you have one! This tour was a lot of fun. I feel like it went by quick but it’s definitely a must do bucket list item! I got a bit sea sick after the fact but I think that was a mix of all the salt water and getting swooshed in the ocean. Didn’t feel it much on the boat. We did take Dramamine 1hr prior but that didn’t really help. Don’t forget cash to tip the crew!
Thank you for the review and I am sorry that mother nature threw in some choppy conditions that day. Hopefully, we will see you on your next Hawaiian adventure during better conditions.
Super Cool/Fun experience! Jules and Lily (if i remember correctly) super accommodating and knowledgeable! 10/10 would go again 🤙🏻
Thank you for the stars and review. My staff absolutely loves sharing their love for the ocean. We hope to have you aboard on your next Hawaiian adventure.
amazing experience! the employees were super informative and helpful and made the experience so much easier and better!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this amazing review
This experience was definitely worth the money! There were so many sharks all around the cage, felt completely safe and had a blast. The tour guides Dustin and (can’t remember the other gentleman’s name wanna say Marden) were fantastic! They were super friendly and Informative and made the experience awesome. If you get motion sickness at all definitely take your meds the ride was rough.
Thank you for your very kind review. Happy to hear your time with us was memorable.
It was an absolute amazing experience thanks to the crew Dustin and Martin. Thank you!
Mahalo for your review and 5 stars!
The conditions were not good the sea was rough we were rescheduled for a couple days later then when we went my children good sea sick and throw up my mom had to stay with them when I jumped in the shark cage. If I know how bad the conditions were we would not have gone. We paid for 4 people and I was the only one that was able to get in the cage because the conditions were so rough not a good value. You should not allow children to go out when the conditions are like that. I was sea sick as well huge head ache. We will never do this again.
Aloha, I am truly sorry that the weather conditions were not ideal during your tour. Please be assured that if conditions had been unsafe to operate, my crew would have canceled the trip immediately. While it is unfortunate that you do not plan to visit us again, an ocean activity may not have been the best fit for your preferences. Take care.
Neat experience! Had 5 Galapagos sharks circling the cage at all times! Short boat ride out to the cage. Felt completely safe the whole time.
Thanks for the awesome review! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and we’re happy to hear we hit the mark for you. Come back and see us soon. Aloha!
