Oahu : Kualoa Ranch UTV Raptor Tour

We really enjoyed our visit to Kualoa Ranch. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and we were very lucky with the weather, which made the experience even better. The only thing we were disappointed about was that the tour did not stop near the crashed airplane in the jungle or the large dinosaur bones. I understand that these locations may be included in a different type of tour, but I think it would have been nice to make a short 5–10 minute stop at each of these interesting spots. It felt a little disappointing to simply pass them by, especially when visiting them properly requires paying for another separate tour. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and the beautiful scenery, but adding a couple of short stops would have made the tour much better.

We had a fantastic experience at Kualoa Ranch on the guided 2-hour UTV Raptor tour. We specifically chose the guided option, and we’re very glad we did. The guided group is at the front of the pack, which meant less dust and dirt from the vehicles ahead of us. It also allowed us to sit back and enjoy the scenery instead of worrying about navigating. One thing I think is helpful for people considering this tour: this is not an off-roading experience. The UTVs travel in a single line with a maximum speed of about 15 mph. The trails have some uneven areas, but this is much more of a scenic ranch tour than an adrenaline-filled off-road excursion. For us, that was perfect. Because we weren’t driving, we could really appreciate the incredible scenery at Kualoa Ranch. The views were absolutely stunning — lush green mountains with the ocean in the background. The scenery alone made the experience worthwhile. There were plenty of stops throughout the tour to get out, see the different areas of the ranch, and take photos. Our guides were also happy to take photos for each group, which was a nice touch. The entire experience was seamless from beginning to end. We used the ranch’s pickup and drop-off service, and everything went smoothly — booking, hotel pickup, check-in, getting to our tour, and transportation back to the hotel. We never had to worry about the logistics. We brought rain jackets and a change of clothes but ended up not needing either. I’d recommend checking the weather in the few days leading up to your tour and again the day of so you can prepare appropriately. There are lockers available if you need them, although we just carried our small bag with us on the UTV. They also provide a neck/mouth covering for the UTV ride, which is helpful for protecting against dust. Overall, we really enjoyed the guided Raptor tour. If you’re looking for a scenic way to experience Kualoa Ranch without actually having to drive or deal with a more intense off-road experience, we’d definitely recommend it.

The Ranch has so many other activities to offer besides the ATV tour. Look up the ranch before you decide on a tour. I wish I had known before hand because I would have booked more than one tour.

This is worth every bit of the money. The views are breathtaking. Pictures don't even come close. Movie buffs will have a ball. Adrenaline junkies will have a blast. Its really an all around people pleasing experience. Highly recommend. One of our tour guides, Reece, really went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience. Two hours flew by and the size of our group was eight vehicles, very manageable. Already planning another visit!!

We had a blast on the UTV Raptor Tour! Super family friendly and just an all around good time. If you’re looking for a crazy adrenaline rush, this probably isn’t the tour for you. It’s a pretty mild ride, but the views and history definitely make up for it. And if you get these two ladies as your guides, you hit the jackpot! They were our guides, photographers, historians and comedians all in one. They kept us laughing, took some great pics and made the whole tour that much better. Definitely got our money’s worth with these two!

Absolutely beautiful and stunning. I wasn’t sure how things would go with on and off rain but it didn’t take away from the experience AT ALL. It was still so beautiful and would do it again. I’m curious about their other excursions now.

We had an amazing time! Most definitely Worth the money. Unbelievable views and experience. Our guides Brad and Makana were so funny, personable, and set up some great pictures for us. Highly recommend!
