We had high expectaions based on the participants photos and reviews and sadly my FIL 72 and 12 year old daiughter found it boring and less fish than they see from shore.

We are sorry to hear that your recent adventure was less exciting than you had hoped, but are glad that you joined the experience of traveling to the bottom of the sea in a submarine. Unfortunately, Waikiki has very sparse natural reef environments, and over the past 100 years, the natural reef has been disappearing. In collaboration with the University of Hawaii Sea Grant Program, Atlantis has created many expansive artificial reef environments that have helped reef and marine life flourish. We hope that with a little time and care, our natural reefs will continue to grow and more fishes to return. Since this is an open ocean experience sightings of ocean life can be unpredictable and vary from hour to hour. Mahalo for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
This was a beautiful experience to see the sea life around the ship and airplane wreckage along with the growing coral. We saw many fish. It was pretty amazing to dive dive dive 100’ to see the beautiful waters off Waikiki. Thank you for the core family memory!

Overall a good experience, but wish there was more to see for the price. Again, a pretty good experience if you have a few extra days in your trip and want to fill it with activities.

Highly recommend. Everyone had a blast cruising the ocean floor
What an experience! My family all enjoyed our submarine trip under the sea at Waikiki. We dove down up to 106 feet and saw a sea turtle, many giant trevallys, boxfish, etc. The experience under the sea lasts about 45 minutes. Our submarine is the largest tourist passenger submarine in the world.
