Excellent day tour of remarkable D-Day sites, museums, and memorials with our guide Charles. He was a fantastic story teller and brought historical moments to life with his recountng as well as being extremely knowledgeable on trivia and other related facts.

I had a great time on this tour. I learned so much about D Day and the different stops along the way. Very knowledgeable and friendly leader. Admission to the Airborne Museum made it a good value too. Good size small van, so you could ask questions and it was a personal experience. I would use this company again.

Our tour guide, Charles was French Air Force. He is a scholar and a gentleman. He brought his own family’s experiences into the tour. He gave us so much information and absolutely loves his job. He made this particular visit extraordinary. From Omaha to the American Cemetery to Pointe Du Hoc and Utah, each stop showed us the history of D-Day you could feel the overwhelming spirit of those events envelope every piece of sand, every cliff, every wave. Saint Mere Eglise was breathtaking. This is a long day. Bring a few energy bars and lots of water. Maybe some tissues, too. Thank you, Charles. We hope we will have the pleasure of meeting you again. Until then, thank you for your service from one military soldier to another. You made this experience really special.

Jordan was a fantastic guide for our group! My teenage boys stayed engaged during all the information and they enjoyed his humor. Jordan used helpful visuals throughout and we learned so much information about D Day and the days/weeks that followed that we had never even heard about. I would definitely recommend using Bayeux Shuttle. Of course you can’t see all the things on this tour since there is just so much, but they did a good job of picking out some very important aspects on the American contribution to WW2. If you’re overwhelmed by the idea of mapping out your Normandy tour, or if you want to learn many unknown facts while someone else takes you around, then I would recommend this company.

Jordan was a great guide, we went to multiple beaches, small towns and Air museum. Not that long of a day with the stops. Chilly on the beaches as nature’s wind hit us hard

This was an amazing tour, thanks to our guide, Frederic. As someone who had always wanted to visit Normandy but did not have a week to see everything, the Normandy American D-Day Experience was the perfect choice. It covered all of the major locations, including Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, Sainte-Mère-Église, the Airborne Museum, Utah Beach, and more. Frederic's knowledge of the battle, the people involved, and the Normandy region was extraordinary. Standing at these historic locations while hearing him describe the events of D-Day and the stories of the heroes who fought there was both humbling and unforgettable. Seeing the beaches at low tide and realizing how far offshore the landing craft dropped the soldiers gave us a much deeper appreciation of the tremendous challenges the Allied troops faced on June 6, 1944. The Normandy American Cemetery was especially moving. Seeing the rows of graves of so many young men who gave their lives, many on the same day, provided a powerful new perspective on the sacrifices made during the invasion. Sainte-Mère-Église was equally fascinating. Frederic explained how the fire near the church illuminated the area as American airborne troops descended into the town, bringing the events of that night vividly to life. The Airborne Museum is also a must-see while visiting Sainte-Mère-Église. You can certainly visit these sites on your own, but you would miss the depth of historical context, detail, and storytelling that Frederic provided. He transformed what could have been a sightseeing trip into an immersive journey through history. The combination of visiting these important locations and hearing the rich stories behind them offered insights that go far beyond what you typically see in documentaries. Because of Frederic, my wife and I left Normandy with a much deeper understanding of the battle, the people who fought there, and the region itself. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in World War II history.

Had a great time and learned a lot. Charles is up there with one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Would definitely hire Bayeux Shuttle again if I make it back.
