El santuario de chimpancés de la isla de Ngamba, ubicado en el lago Victoria en Uganda, ofrece una oportunidad única para observar chimpancés huérfanos y rescatados en un entorno natural boscoso. Establecido en 1998, el santuario abarca 100 acres, con el 98% del área boscosa, proporcionando un refugio seguro para más de 50 chimpancés

Itinerario
Comience el día con una recogida temprano en la mañana desde su hotel en Kampala o Entebbe. Viajará por carretera hasta el muelle de Entebbe Waterfront, ubicado cerca del Centro de Educación de Vida Silvestre de Uganda (UWEC). El viaje en coche dura de 1 a 1,5 horas, dependiendo del tráfico.
Llegada al muelle y check-in para su traslado en barco a la isla de Ngamba. Después de una breve sesión informativa y un ajuste del chaleco salvavidas, suba a una lancha rápida o a una canoa motorizada tradicional (según su paquete). El paseo en barco dura aproximadamente 45 minutos, ofreciendo hermosas vistas del lago Victoria, barcos de pesca e islas pequeñas.
A su llegada, será recibido por el personal del santuario. Una breve sesión de orientación presenta la historia del santuario, las historias de fondo de los chimpancés y la misión de conservación del santuario.
Traslado de regreso a Kampala o regreso a Entebbe Después de atracar en Entebbe, su conductor lo trasladará de regreso a Kampala o lo dejará en su hotel o aeropuerto de Entebbe.
