Great overview of Salzburg. Florin did a great job relaying history of the area mixed with fun Sound of Music references.
Excellent tour of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castle. The guide (Felicia) on the coach was fantastic and gave us a lot of history and facts. She outlined a detailed plan of the day with timings so we can plan our trip. We chose not to buy castle tour tickets and instead used the time to tour the outside of the castles and gardens on our own and climb uphill to Marienbrucke (Mary’s bridge) for a gorgeous view of the fairytale castle. The line for the bus was massive so we walked uphill (this can be tiring so need trainers) and there is also a line for the bridge but it is worth the wait! As we were on our own, we took some time to paddle in Lake Alpsee and take a pedal boat around the lake. A lovely day had by all. Top tip: many places in this region are cash only so bring lots of Euros!

Was a good tour with a pickup point very close to the subway station. Felicia was a fantastic guide that was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was included and nobody was left behind. Overall a good experience of the castles.
