We loved every minute of it. Our guide, Leo, was knowledgeable, funny, energetic, and very in tune with the goings on with the local food scene. It was on Canada Day, and he had lived in Toronto for a number of years, so that was a bonus for us. The family style Greek dinner at the end of the tour was the highlight. Don’t change a thing; we would do it again in a heartbeat!
I have been on many food tours and really enjoy them. This one had lots of diversity. From wine and cheese, to Olive oil tasting with more wine, other stops for small tastings and then a delicious meal at the end. A lot of history as well. I would say well worth the money. A good time.
Guide was in school for archeology, so she was very knowledgeable! we tried local cheeses, wines, desserts (the orange cake at Honey & Cinnamon was out of this world), and we had a small olive oil tasting, among others. it ended with a really nice sit down dinner and great conversation.
Leonidas was the best tour guide! This was our first food tour and it exceeded our expectations more than we can express! We learned so much and had a wonderful experience tasting the delicious cuisine. We will recommend this to everyone we know!
This tour took us on a walk though old town, where we visited and sampled at some of the most popular restaurants and venues in Naxos, including Apostolis and Avaton 1739.
It’s not just about the food, although the food is amazing! It’s about all of the things you learn along the way.❤️
Very enjoyable, a nice small bunch of people, and a great way to discover Naxos. The cheese tasting and the olive oil tasting were the highlights.
This was our top Naxos tour. We got to sample many items and learn more about the food from Naxos at some awesome locations. The highlight was the family style dinner. Our tour guide Angelica was a delight and helped the group get to know each other while also sharing some great historical insights.
Our guide was a delightful gentleman who related well to all tour participants. He was especially kind to my 11 year old grandson involving him in all discussions…asking questions that involved thoughtful answers. The food sampled was good, stops at various locations just the right amount of time. The dinner was fabulous. I most particularly enjoyed the sampling of olive oils. I bought 4 different bottles! I did this tour 2 years ago with my granddaughter and enjoyed it just as much if not more the second time. I enthusiastically recommend.
It was great to go around the town center trying new food that’s typical to the island. Very nice tour guide as well.
