Navidad en el Palacio de Schönbrunn Viena: Concierto de música clásica y mercado navideño

The concert was fabulous. It was held in a special small room at the palace that accommodated the sound of the singers and musicians. There were a limited number of guests there, which created a small, intimate setting. Seemingly a very private setting. Prior to the performance, we ate at the Christmas market outside the palace. Very good. In all a perfect event to begin my vacation and Christmas week.

The venue itself was beautiful, and the performance was good. This was our third performance in Vienna, so we had other experiences for comparison. Unfortunately, the seating was disappointing. When we purchased our tickets, we did not realize our seats were located near the back. While we could hear the performance, our view was extremely limited. Additionally, during the second act, staff in the lobby began clearing wine glasses, creating significant noise that disrupted the experience. Considering the price we paid, the overall value was not satisfactory. The other performances we attended in Vienna were Exceptional and more affordable

Wonderful music and experience. It’s not in the palace but the Orangerie was still beautiful. The musicians were incredible - would highly recommend.

It was a nice experience. My fault i didn't realize the Orangery is not the main palace but a little small performance hall seats a few hundred. It was again nice and cozy but I had talked myself into a full theater experience

Way overpriced! The concert itself was wonderful but the rest of the “includeds” were nothing! No directions about where to pick up tickets as the Orangery is not well marked, no directions as to where to find the food stand and “meeting time” to me implies that someone will be there to answer questions but there was no one. This is the first time Viator has disappointed but I will be more cautious in the future.

So lovely. We did the VIP experience and it was great. Just follow the instructions well. Get to the box office by 6:00 or so to get your tickets, then go to the markets. The people in the box office will tell you exactly what stall you get your food from if you ask. The concert was the perfect length.

For the most part we enjoyed the experience. Concert was very nice - combination of symphony and some opera singers joined them for a few songs. Beautiful music in a beautiful setting. But there were some issues. We had VIP tix that included a few things - Xmas market drink/snack, free coat check, free pre show drink. Drink snack was from one stand with limited options food wise. Pre show drink availability was unclear (on time and location) but we’d been told doors opened at 8 and while we had section A tickets we did not have assigned seats. So we showed up at 8 expecting to get our drinks and pick a seat. However you can’t take your drinks into the performance hall. So we chugged our sparkling wine and grabbed a seat. If we had known our drink was available earlier than 8 and where to go for it we’d have come sooner (instead we were killing time in a nearby cafe). It’s a flat venue with a raised stage at the end. If you are toward the back and are short you might not see well. Last while we were supposed to have free coat check we were still charged (person at coat check seemed not to understand or we were not directed to the right coat check area). The VIP aspect was missing….These are logistical complaints that if addressed would make future visitors buying the VIP tickets have a much better experience.

Brilliant musicians and singers. You don’t have to be a classical music buff to really enjoy this. Nothing more to add.

Location was changed and no signs to support. Our group was sent to 3 locations prior to the correct one. The concert was excellent and the Christmas market was nice.

The coupons for food were dismal. Only selection was chicken schnitzel (chicken tenders) and potato chips and that was it. Nothing available for gluten free options. Lines at the only available concession stand were not clearly marked and very long. Music was good but thought the concert would be in the palace not side building.
