En 1833, Charles Darwin zarpó por el canal Beagle. Puedes seguir su curso en un crucero en catamarán de 2.5 horas desde Ushuaia. Capturarás las vistas de la antigua prisión de Ushuaia, visitarás el Museo del Fin del Mundo y admirarás las vistas de Cinco Hermanos y las montañas Olivia, entre otros lugares. Después de llegar al Faro de Les Eclaireurs y observar ruinas de naufragios, se encuentran multitudes de lobos marinos en Isla de Lobos y los residentes alados de Isla de Pájaros. Después de la recogida en el hotel, aborde un catamarán en el muelle Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli para comenzar su viaje a través del estrecho salpicado de las islas Tierra del Fuego. Tome un crucero de 2,5 horas para admirar islas rocosas, glaciares, monumentos de la ciudad y vida silvestre en el canal Beagle, llamado así en honor al barco Beagle de Charles Darwin que atravesó las aguas grises como el cañón en la década de 1830.
Cuando su barco salga en dirección este abrazando la costa, disfrute de las vistas del Museo Marítimo, ubicado en los edificios de la antigua prisión, y el Museo del Fin del Mundo que se especializa en la historia natural y de los aborígenes de la zona. Los comentarios grabados de a bordo describen la antigua prisión, donde ahora se expone una réplica del barco de Darwin, y los orígenes de Ushuaia como una colonia penal. Pasará junto a los picos nevados de las montañas Olivia y Cinco Hermanos detrás de la zona industrial de la ciudad. Entre las vistas panorámicas del agua, el mar y la montaña, navegará junto a las Estancias Fique and Tunel y el río Encajonado. El barco se acercará al pequeño promontorio del faro Les Eclaireurs, un faro a rayas rodeado de colonias de cormoranes de las rocas. Tal vez bajo un cielo nublado, escuchará la historia sobre el buque de vapor Monte Cervantes que encontró aquí su fatídico día final en 1930 y cuyos restos emergieron a la superficie.
En dirección al centro del canal Beagle, nos encontraremos con el faro Les Éclaireurs. Construido en 1920, este emblemático faro de rayas rojas y blancas sirve como símbolo de Ushuaia. En una de las islas, los restos del naufragio de 1930, Monte Cervantes, todavía son visibles, lo que añade una capa de historia a la belleza paisajística de la zona.
En el camino de regreso al oeste, su catamarán se acerca silenciosamente a la 'Isla de Lobos', hogar de cientos de leones marinos, lobos marinos y cormoranes reales que se asemejan a pequeños pingüinos. Deléitese con las vistas de cerca de los mamíferos mientras gruñen, ladran y tal vez incluso se empujan entre sí para reclamar territorio.
Continúe hacia Bird Island, donde podrá admirar las diversas especies de aves. Observe las gaviotas, la majestuosidad de los cormoranes reales, la belleza de los petreles, los patos vapor y los albatros gigantes, encontrándose con hasta 20 fascinantes especies de aves en el camino.
Podrá admirar las vistas del glaciar Martial al navegar por Paso Chico para volver al muelle de Ushuaia. Desde aquí, disfrute de su traslado de regreso a su hotel.

This was an amazing trip. We saw sea lions, whales and a condor. The guides were very informative and the trip was well organized. The tour company even suggested we move our reservations one day earlier at no extra charge to us so we would have better weather. We were glad we did because the next day was cloudy and rainy so visibility may have been an issue had we not followed their advice. Highly recommend this tour!
Magnificent trip to do with the family... we hired through Penguin Expeditions... it is a beautiful 3 hours... we were lucky enough to spot whales... we would definitely do it again... one of the best of Ushuaia
Indescribable. The place is beautiful, the guides are nice, I consider this tour unmissable. Outside the boat you can enjoy the view better, but inside it is hotter. I recommend the outside lol

I loved the tour so much that I went twice! It's the kind of trip we don't do every day. There's cold, snow, penguins, sea lions... and the special touch that the catamaran has with drinks and food, making the experience even more welcoming. I loved!
Speechless! It was so beautiful that we went twice! The view is stunning and seeing all those animals up close is like no other. I love the cold and animals, so for me it was very exciting. I will come back as many times as I can. Furthermore, inside the catamaran there are drinks and food, which makes the trip even more welcoming.
The trip is worth it, although there are too many people on the boat and the bathrooms are dirty, there comes a time when there is nowhere to sit because people leave their backpacks, which makes it uncomfortable. Hotel pickup is super convenient and the views it offers are very beautiful
