Seremos el icónico Templo Kofuku-ji, famoso por su impresionante pagoda de cinco pisos. Esta pagoda tallada ornamentalmente fue construida por el clan Fujiwara en 730. Hoy es un hito histórico icónico de Nara.
Explora la Sala Principal del Templo Todaiji y Nandaimon. Al acercarse, será recibido por dos imponentes estatuas guardianas llamadas Kongorikishi. Explora el bosque primigenio de Kasugayama y Kasuga Taisha. El Santuario Kasuga Taisha se encuentra en Kasugano-cho, Ciudad de Nara, Prefectura de Nara. Es uno de los 22 santuarios en los santuarios Shikinai y uno de los 22 santuarios sintoístas. Anteriormente un kanpeitai-sha, ahora es un santuario anexo de la Jinja Honcho (Agencia para la Promoción de la Religión Sintoísta). El antiguo nombre del santuario era Santuario Kasuga, y el escudo del santuario es una “wisteria que cae”. Es el santuario principal de aproximadamente 1.000 santuarios Kasuga en todo Japón. Está registrado como una de las “Propiedades Culturales de la Antigua Nara” en la Lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.

Nara is clearly worth a visit! An absolutely stunningly beatiful place - and funny to feed the deer that roam around both the park and the city. Our guide, Shin, was both pleasant and helpful - also when our tour came to an end and we had to find the right train.

We had an amazing time! Shin was very insightful, funny and friendly. He even took some amazing photo for us and planned a wonderful lunch. The whole tour was five hours but time flew by. From each temple and shine, deer feedings and seeing the worlds largest Buddha, I’d recommend this tour.

Private group experience with our Yuki and Hide was great. The night before the trip, we realized that the pick up location was in Nara and didn’t know how to get there. We called the vendor and they were wonderful helping with planning using public transport and working with our guide to wait for a few extra minutes. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find 2 guides who were friendly, fluent in English, and took us on a walking tour for 5 hours. Despite the humid and hot weather, they were thoughtful and considerate, taking thru different sites, including a beautiful tea garden that was off the beaten path and shaded. Loved the experience. They also showed us the highlight of Nara sites including plenty of time with deers but not overly crowded with tourists. Lunch was at a nice restaurants, eating traditional Japanese food which we couldn’t have ordered on our own. At end of trip, they heard we wanted to go to Uji, so they dropped us off at the train station so we wouldn’t get lost. It was a joyful and excellent Nara trip.

It was a really good experience doing the guided tour with Shin. It's so much more interesting to hear all the details that you would normally not know. The tour was relaxed and a nice pace, and because it's a small group you don't look silly, get in the way, or follow someone holding a stick in the air around. The lunch was top notch and very relaxing. The value for the money is unbeatable, to have a guide dedicated to so few people for 5 hours, with such good food. I'm not normally one to pay for tours but this was great, will do it again now.

Great tour which included a visit to a traditional house and restaurant. The guide provided useful information regarding the main sites and was very approachable and considerate. Would highly recommend as it was a small group, so we could go at our own pace.
