A must see in Seoul! I would recommend early in the day to avoid crowds. I would do again, but next time either at Sunset or at night to see the city lights. The cable car is a must as is the tower!
I had left passports in Busan and had to travel back to collect on the day booked. I did message asking to move to following day as we fly out the next and understood the terms but was hoping they could be a little understanding but no reply at all!
Good tour. The pickup location was convenient and instructions were clear. Definitely recommend. ❤️😄
This wasn’t originally on our itinerary, but I would recommend it to anyone visiting Korea, especially if you have a few extra hours. We took the cable car to the top and waited about 25 minutes. The line looked much worse than it actually was, but it would have been helpful to know the wait time upfront. At the top, we bought a lock and added it to the others. Seeing all the locks was amazing. I expected them to be in one small area, but they were spread throughout the entire mountaintop, which made it even more impressive. Afterward, we ate at a restaurant at the top with a beautiful view of the city. You could see for miles, and the food was great and came out quickly.
Ticket pick up was a breeze, walk from ticket office to cable cars was short but steep walk up hill. Went at 10 am and there was no wait. Great experience!
The park here is nice; they have various activities there. The views from the tower and the cable car are great but I personally did not like the long wait to get on the cable car to get to the tower. This is not for everyone, and I would have much preferred to see more of historical Korea.
Nice trip, however we stood like a herring in a barrel in the cable car, it wasn't exactly what I expected. Lovely view in the tower despite cloudy weather and fine souvenir shops up there, which are not very expensive 😃
There are only 2 cable car bins (1 out and 1 back) so you end up in long zigzag Efteling rows both way and back, which mainly takes forever. Once at the top it is around a large commercial sale of souvenirs where a lot of light is on. This means a lot of backlighting on the windows. Windows that are also dirty from the finger and stain prints. In short, definitely not recommended and waste money. Because of the commercial sales downstairs and upstairs, this is overshooting its purpose, too bad!
The experience picking up the tickets was fine, but note the limited pickup hours and that the pickup location is not at the cable car entrance. The pickup location is a challenging 15 minute walk uphill to the cable care entrance. I would recommend just booking tickets directly and skipping this hassle.
Hi, thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that ticket collection in Myeongdong is required in advance, and this information is clearly stated in the booking details prior to purchase. The pickup location at Rednow Studio is positioned along the route to Namsan, making it a convenient stop for travelers heading to the cable car. From there, the walk to the Namsan Cable Car entrance typically takes around 5–10 minutes, including a gentle uphill section, which is part of the natural terrain in the area. We understand that preferences may vary, and we appreciate your feedback. We will continue improving how we communicate these details to ensure a smoother experience for all travelers. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
I purchase the Namsan cable car and the observatory. I went and picked up the tickets as the instructions stated. It did take me a while to find my way up to the cable car (walked the wrong direction). It is a pretty long way to walk up to the bottom of the N Seoul Tower and it’s a pretty steep uphill. The cable car takes you up to the bottom of the tower. This is especially ideal if you don’t want to walk or it is very cold. I went up a little bit earlier and warmed up at the cafe and then headed up to the observatory when it was about 30 minutes before sunset. I would definitely recommend getting there 1 hour before sunset so that you can find a good spot and place to sit. The ticket for the observatory will need to be exchanged at the ticket booth for observatory.
