Después de una explicación introductoria del edificio, un antiguo cuartel de caballería, se dirigirá hacia la colección de mosaicos en el primer piso. La pieza más famosa aquí es el Mosaico de Alejandro, una enorme representación de la batalla entre Alejandro Magno y Darío III de Persia. En la planta baja descubrirá la Colección Farnese y sus maravillosos mármoles, especialmente el Hércules Farnese y el Toro Farnese, ambos alojados originalmente en las Termas de Caracalla y se encuentran entre los más impresionantes que encontrará. No te pierdas los Bronces de la Villa de los Papiros y, si tienes la suerte de encontrar las secciones abiertas, el Gabinete Secreto, que alberga artículos eróticos y sexuales, ¡y la Colección Egyption seguramente valen la pena la visita!

Well-structured museum, with a system of monitored lockers at the entrance and security on every level. Very kind and helpful staff. Cleanliness and freshness everywhere. Clear and multilingual signage. Possibility to book guided tours on-site. The only downside (it is probably a service that needs to be booked, but I am not sure) was that the elevators were out of order and the restroom was on level -1. Not very inclusive condition for guests in wheelchairs.

I took advantage of the free day on April 25 to return to the MANN and, like every time, this place manages to surprise me. Crossing the threshold of this majestic Bourbon palace, born in the late eighteenth century to celebrate the Kingdom means immersing yourself in history and beauty. Each room is a journey into our culture, a journey surrounded by timeless wonders where each visit gives a new perspective, reminding me how lucky we are to have such a guardian of beauty in the heart of the city.

I loved this museum. There is so much to see. It is very well laid out, with lots of room. The sheer scale of the number of artefact's from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Capua is mind blowing. I wandered round for 3 hours and didn't get around it all. I will have to go back to see it all again. A reasonable price to get in too , only 16.00 euros for an adult.

Incredible, this museum is amazing such a variety of ancient artifacts that make history breathe at every step of the visit. We got excited in every room.

Unparalleled museum, also because it is located in the heart of Naples The Egyptian section is hardly present in other museums The section concerning Pompeii then I think that really we can only have it in Naples and is absolutely not to be missed

Spectacular visit. Recommendation to everyone to visit it. You are ecstatic by so much beauty. On the ground floor the sculptures of ancient Rome leave you stunned.
Beautiful, large museum with many important works. I had the honor of attending the reopening after 1 year of restoration at the Farnese Gem Gallery, beautiful. The only drawback after paying €20 (adults) for admission at 10.00 were out of audio guides 🤦🏻♀️ in my opinion very serious!!!!
