We did the self-guided audio tour. That was wonderful as we went at our own pace. The museum is beautiful and well organized. Easy to follow along with the audio.
Do not miss this incredible experience, especially as our country celebrates its 250th birthday! This exhibit is very well-done and historically shows what the colonies went through before, during, and after the American Revolution. Do not miss this if you're in NOLA!
This was a better museum than the one in Yorktown, VA.
Amazing artifacts that are new to the museum, but are very old. The museum is able to acquire new artifacts, that have to do with the American Revolution, that have been recently discovered from anywhere in the world. If you like that part of history, then you will love this museum. It covers so many different dimensions of that time period. And it’s done very well. They also have the actual tent that George Washington used as his field office throughout the war. If that doesn’t give you goosebumps, then I don’t know what will.
Great museum which excellent exhibit - we got to see Washington’s Tent exhibit which was a highlight.
The museum is well put together with fantastic exhibits and is beautiful! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Make time for this well done, thorough, artistic presentation of the Revolution. Excellent pacing of information. Thoughtfully done. And the cafe has reasonable prices.
Very detailed exhibits, it takes a while to get through. It is well worth it. Great education for middle school students.
Great experience for anyone interested in an in depth experience on the revolutionary war. Prepare to spend at least a day. We arrived at 11 and stayed until 6 and still didn't see everything.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Although I think your site should make it more clear you will probably not get to go inside Any of mentioned buildings along the route. We could have made earlier arrangements to tour some of these buildings on our own.
