Fantastic experience! 90 euros seems a bit hefty, but totally worth it bc you can skip the line and bypass two hours of queues in 33c heat. Guide Christa was totally on top of things, cool under pressure bc we had a time limit for St. Peter, but easily kept us entertained (not bored!) with many useful anecdotes. The atmosphere is incredible, everything from Laokoon, School of Athens, Sixtine Chapel with Creation of Adam, and St. Peters oozes greatness. It is a must see for everybody, but quick feet are useful to keep up with the brisk pace.

Zara was an absolute highlight of our visit to the Vatican and St. Peter s Basilica. From the moment the tour began, her energy was completely infectious she brought the history to life in a way that made every moment engaging and memorable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does; her enthusiasm never felt scripted or forced, just natural and contagious. What really stood out was how knowledgeable she is. She navigated centuries of history, art, and architecture with ease, weaving in stories and details that made everything feel meaningful rather than overwhelming. Even in such a crowded and complex place, she kept the group focused, entertained, and moving smoothly. Zara has that rare ability to balance depth with excitement whether you re deeply interested in art history or just there to take it all in, she makes the experience feel accessible and special. I d absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting the Vatican, and I would go out of my way to book another tour with her again.

Bad operator. We paid for guided tours for Vatican museums , Sistine and Basilica. They only didn't the Vatican museums and didn't complete the rest. We went to the tour operator and they said they couldn't do anything even though they didn't complete the guided tours.

We had a wonderful guide named Alejandro. He was exceptional. He was passionate about the artists and the history of the church that it represented. If reviews could give this young man financial reward, he deserves it. He goes above and beyond what we expected.

Buying the tour in the experience said that it included a guided tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel (which they did) and also entry without lines to St. Peter's Basilica (more not guide). At the end of the tour when the group followed the basilica the guide informs us that if we wanted to go we had to pay (which he did not say) we told him that our tour included and he told us that they had not indicated that. In the end we couldn’t get in and his response afterwards when he claimed was “if you’re right, it was a misunderstanding, we’ll give them back the 15th” as if it was a dessert that didn’t make it to the meal. They do not take into account that one plans their days when they make a trip and has the tight hours, clearly because of our itinerary at 3pm we could not queue the basilica, so we could not know it. They ruined the whole Experience

Eugene was an amazing tour guide! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about everything. Not only did we see the beautiful sights but the history that was shared was unbelievable.

This tour was a serious disappointment. The so-called “skip the line” ticket is misleading: you are required to join a very long queue alongside large numbers of other “skip the line” ticket holders, which defeats the purpose entirely. Our guide was pleasant but unfocused and rambling. We spent approximately 45 minutes standing on a cold outdoor terrace while she talked a word salad about the Sistine Chapel paintings, expecting the group to follow her commentary using small photographs in a paper brochure rather than seeing anything in person. After two hours from setting out, we had not actually seen a single sight. This is completely unacceptable and fundamentally not what a guided tour should involve. The tour was slow, poorly structured, and thoroughly uninspiring. My husband and I were so dissatisfied that we left early. At €50 per person, this was extremely poor value for money and a complete waste of time. We would not recommend this tour.

An incredible experience, through Crown Tours, all well coordinated, expedited access and a standout for our expert guide Sonia, great professional archaeologist, with vast knowledge, with tasty and very friendly data that made the experience unforgettable. Museums are chaotic, lots of information at every turn, you can be there for a long time, worth the experience.
