Una visita guiada exclusivamente privada y personalizable con un guía turístico autorizado dentro de los Museos Vaticanos, la Capilla Sixtina y la Basílica de San Pedro. Nuestros tours están reservados solo para el grupo cuyos nombres aparecen en su reserva. No combinamos grupos. Puede pedir a su guía que cambie su itinerario según sus preferencias. El recorrido incluye el Pio-Clementino, las Galerías, el Patio de Piña en la ruta dentro de los Museos antes de llegar a la Capilla Sixtina y finalmente a la Basílica. Nuestra oficina puede comprar sus entradas para los Museos Vaticanos, la Capilla Sixtina y la Basílica de San Pedro.

La Capilla Sixtina toma su nombre del Papa Sixto IV della Rovere (pontífice de 1471 a 1484) que hizo restaurar la antigua Cappella Magna entre 1477 y 1480. La decoración de las paredes del siglo XV incluye: las cortinas falsas, las Historias de Moisés, la Historias de Cristo y los retratos de los Papas. Fue ejecutado por un equipo de pintores formado inicialmente por Pietro Perugino, Sandro Botticelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio y Cosimo Rosselli. En el Techo, Pier Matteo d'Amelia pintó un cielo estrellado. El trabajo de los frescos se inició en 1481 y se concluyó en 1482. Esta es también la fecha de las siguientes obras en mármol: la pantalla, la sillería del coro (donde los coristas tomaron sus lugares), y el escudo pontificio sobre la entrada puerta.

Our guide Mickey was amazing. Deep knowledge of the Vatican, its art, its history and its culture within the context of Italian culture as well. Very hot but his energy and care for us made our day thoroughly enjoyable!
The tour was good. It’s very busy and crowded during the summer. 3 hours is not long enough to properly see the important areas.

This is the tour you want to take! It was the absolute highlight of our five week holiday, and the event we still talk about the most. There is so much to see and experience at the Vatican that it would be easy to be overwhelmed. We found that learning about the history of the location, site, and development was a fascinating insight into the actual buildings and art. It also helps that our guide (Nicola) is insightful, experienced, and fun. While it is difficult to select just one element, the experience of being in the Sistine Chapel was improved by all the information he shared with us prior to arrival. The early access is worth it--you'll appreciate that the chapel is not overflowing with people--and having a deeper understanding of the frescoes and art. Absolutely the BEST part of our time in Rome.
